Make Andros, and maybe another island or two, legal growing fields. Industry and thus people will move there and more farming will most likely follow as warehousing, processing plants, equipment and shipping will follow.
If they just make in mandatory then tell me which civil servants will quit over it? NONE! They getting money for nothing now. No-one walks away from that, especially if you have no other options. Also, it not like the rest of us will notice if they go on strike. Stuff still won't get done. BUT... there would be less traffic on the roads. let them strike!!!
At a minimum I would like to see our government formally resolve to be **the last** country in the Western Hemisphere to approve recreational and medical marijuana. We know we're going to be the last, but it would be nice to see it in writing so that we can stop talking about it.
Thank God the U.S. gets involved in our affairs. Without them I don't think any major crimes would be investigated or prosecuted (definitely not properly). I often wonder if the police and lawyers intentionally screw things up just so criminals can get off on appeal.
I hope the sibling is getting counseling for this. The feeling of guilt may not hit her now but in time she will have to deal with this and she needs to be prepared for it.
