There should be answers from Gray about his stupid intervention. The protesting by these parties is becoming pointless and boring. I would think that Pintard with all his oratory skills would find ways to get the message conveyed. On the other hand, it is interesting that no journalist has confronted the FNM about corruption and intervention by its members which have gone unchecked.1) who was involved the BEC bribery? 2) Why was the former Tourism minister not question with regards to missing money and conflict of interest? 3) explain the underhanded and grubby deal regarding the new port? It is clear to see that neither the media nor the plp wanta to answer these questions and many other questions. The media are either biased or overwhelmingly incompetent and government is sure to have some of its party members involve, hand in hand with the FNM. The whole thing is a farce and Pintard should be sensible enough to see it. While he's out there jumping around members of his party and the PLP in business together and cutting deals left and right. There's only one party in this country. The Dollar party will always win.
Would someone please tell Patterson to shut his big mouth. He has not addressed gender equality and many of the other major social issues which we face. Get permanently lost.
I think he should be dismissed. As consul general where the hell you get off talking about major deal for Bimini? Know your role buddy. He is not indispensable and the government need only cut off loose ends. Tired of hearing about these hangers on. Fire him and move on.
I can't get into this deep discussion with you on the details of the negotiations. But it appears that they are being paid a regular salary. The dispute is overtime and holiday pay. The point is the unions in this country really have some shabby leadership. You folks always get worked up on this thing to get your point across. It is ironically quite interesting that our union leaders have this same rowdy attitude which in most cases achieves nothing.
These unions love to play politics. They are truly out of control and the government must put a stop to it. Threat after threat, government after government these folks are never satisfied. The truth is many unions workers across this country love slackness and laziness. The unions encourage foolishness and prop up bad behavior. It's disgusting. Can their fight ever be about anything other than money?
Words, words. Action is what is needed. The Bahamar fiasco only serves to empathize how these large mega resort models can be so unstable. It also highlights the need for serious economic diversification. Tourism has been good to us but it's time to make some serious decisions about the economy. I find it hard to believe that the PM relied so heavily on this project. Then again I shouldn't put anything past these jokers. So Junkanoo Carnival is approaching and the hotel is not done. What an embarrassing situation to be in. The Bahamar folks saw this coming and steadily made public statements of readiness to open. It is a reflection of how they intend to operate in the future. Just watch.
Lol. You laying it on quite heavy Emac. How did you all get imbrawled in such a heated exchange anyway? You can't let the loonies get to you. If its one thing we all appreciate as Bahamians is this tribal attitude which is a lingering stench to our existence. We are like cattle that can be hearded in any direction. Some of us have no inclination to objective, independent thought. But the media in this country is rubbish and does not lead objective discussion and debate on issues. The general public must always be subjected to the personal rhetoric of the many idiots with access to a mic and a radio tower.
