Sad, but that sounds about right Cobalt. This could very well have been a PE. We really need to have better care plans and outpatient management in our system of care. We send our sympathy to the family and friends of this young officer.

Ah moderator when do you intend to block these two users? Profane language and just pure nonsense they going on with.

Why are we so negative towards people in this country? Ok, we get that there will be strong views and differing opinions on matters of national importance. But why is the Judge being so heavily ridiculed? We are just too personal in this country. When the case was before the Court of Appeal they ruled in favour of RWB. As we all know the Privy Council subsequently, granted an injunction and now the Supreme Court Judge has reviewed the case and made a ruling. Why attack him and his integrity? What makes the Privy Council that much more credible than him? But the irony of this is that Bahamians love to use the Privy Council when its in their favour. When it comes to passing sentence of death the Privy Council should stay out of Bahamian business and we have this go it alone attitude. Isn't that what we all say?

Please, have your strong views and strong opinions. There is no need to tear down our Judges and legal system because it doesn't suit our immediate need to stop this dredging. I am 100% in favour of the dredging being stopped but, that doesn't give me the right to speak poorly of any Judge or legal counsel who has an opposing view within the confines of the law.

@Oracle. That's so funny and sadly so true. With the ignoramuses we have in our Parliament we can expect anything. LOL, I thought it was only I who loathe hearing and seeing the silly police outriders in the front of the PM's car. I think going to and from the office for the PM is the best part of his day. His office which is less than 2.5 miles from his home I might add. He's like a child with a brand new toy fire truck at Christmas. He just can't get enough of the damn sirens. That is until he drives the adults in the room crazy enough and they damn take out the batteries.

@ThisisOurs
You are spot on regarding the PHA. As a healthcare professional I get annoyed when I hear Dr. Sands go on like this. The PHA is charged with the responsibility of ensuring that these facilities run smoothly. I will admit they haven't been doing the best job of it. The fact is the ICU nor any other hospital department should get dragged into politics. The PMH ICU has lacked the necessary equipment. medication and staff for years. This didn't just happen overnight and it is disingenuous for my colleague to suggest that any one government is at fault. As far as I'm concerned both administrations knew and know full well the extent to which we lack supplies and staff throughout the entire hospital. Having the facility is one thing, having the proper trained staff is another. Just how many Critical care specialists do we have? Or are we just manning stations with SHOs, like we usually do? Furthermore, why is the Tribune contacting my colleague knowing full well he has a political bias on any matter regarding PMH and the fact that he is not head of the ICU? If you want comments call the ICU Chief. We need to get real in this place and stop playing games and politics with the lives of Bahamians.

Excellent news. Hope they never get to finish the destruction they've started.

So agree with many of you on this issue. The political class in our nation get away with any and everything. If this was a man from Nassau Village I guarantee you he would've had several broken ribs and a bruised up face. But I still don't get how Dr. Minnis went from two totally different statements in such a short period of time. What is it that they are not telling us about this case? I can't speak to Bostwick's personal life and goings on, but from what I've seen of him in the media he has some progressive thoughts.

I don't see how this qualifies him as good leadership. Dr. Minnis went from saying 'there is no immediate plans to call for his resignation,' (Nassau Guardian) to writing a letter the GG with notification of revocation of Mr. Bostwick's Senate seat almost 'immediately.' So what the hell changed in two days. If you had no immediate plans to call for his resignation why not allow Mr. Bostwick to resign honourably?

Then there is the Bran factor. A man who has never served as leader of anything in his life so easily takes the role of Monday morning quarterback on every issue. Shoulda, woulda, coulda type guy. Personally I think John Bostwick is a better leader than both Bran and Minnis. Sorry that he has to go through this. If only the FNM and PLP would stop there BS and allow these young men to lead we would probably be much farther ahead. These old crows in the parties believe in this seniority BS and who been around the longest. Just step aside. At some point we are going to stop asking politely and begin to force people to leave.

He really can't help himself. Hall simply craves attention at every turn. Just go away and do things in your community to help the crime problem. He constantly whines and pontificates about what church gets recognition but the churches he talks about are never pushing themselves in the media. He on the other hand is always looking for press coverage and recognition. Just sit small and work without looking for praise.

We haven't heard the full story yet and people are already calling it politically motivated. But suppose there is evidence that suggest that his wife was involved with the breech in bank i formation. Is the Police not suppose to act because her husband is FNM chairman? If the officers are in violation I'm sure the COP will be responsible in sorting it out. But lets not always jump to conclusions. When the Police don't work we complain. When they work we complain. What is it that we want?

Its funny though. I hear many FNMs and PLPs go on about privacy etc. Personal privacy is only important when it serves them. They all do these dirty deals and when the details become public they go on with nonsense about the constitution. But if I'm a customer at the bank and political leaders find it necessary to publish the details of a loan that I am servicing then there is something wrong. BOB needs to get the bottom of that leak. Both these parties need to be vaporized.
