This would be hilarious if it were not so sad. Nothing in the affidavits filed in court accuses the P.M. of anything. It is Nygard's recorded video where he makes statements about paying off the P.M. and the PLP with $5 million. Standard PLP tactics. Run a smear on the other guy as if whatever the "other guy" has done justifies the sale of their political obligations. It is Nygard who accuses the PLP and the P.M. Maybe the police should be questioning him.

The last resort. Caught on video. Affidavits filed in court. Video of Keod smashing the window of Fred Smith's car. So what can the thugs say? Oh, how about calling the victims "Uncle Toms". Let's reach for some racism charge. When you have no evidence, no reasoning, no substance, you can always scream "racist" and that gives your argument ethical standing.

No police charges? Because the police don't dare enforce the law when it comes to certain very powerful politicians. Come on Tal, wake up.

Tarzan says...

Why will the failure of our government to do anything about this serial miscreant who openly violates the law not surprise?

Tarzan says...

What an ridiculous comment. These are sworn affidavits accompanied by videos. The Big LIe just won't work for you Nygard minions any longer.

Tarzan says...

Unresolved how? The man died of a heart attack. The circumstances were thoroughly investigated. This is scandalous propaganda spewed by Nygard.

Tarzan says...

Wow. Those are crimes. 1. Camera and equipment found in vacant car! What is criminal about that? 2. He got a divorce. Is that a crime in the Bahamas? 3/ The speakers were found to be nothing but standard outdoor stereo speakers. The police raid was criminal and undoubtedly arranged by Peter Nygard. They found nothing so they seized some outdoor speakers and claimed they were weapons which was demonstrated to be totally false. No charges filed after his house was ransacked and his staff held handcuffed with arms behind their backs for hours. 4. His boat captain died. Fully investigated. He suffered a heart attack. If you get your news from bloggers who have been convicted in court of libel and slander, you are not seeking proper sources.

This better be a wakeup call for all Bahamians. Criminals are running this nation. Baha Mar was just the tip of the iceberg. Why no Chapter 11 workout, where all the Bahamian contractors would have been immediately paid; all employees would have been paid; and by now resort would be open and all the country would be better off? Because that would have exposed the corruption between influential Bahamians and the Chinese Bank and Construction firm. This is not petty corruption. Now we're talking about hit men. That while leaders posture about "crime". This goes to the soul of the country.

Please provide any information regarding Luis Bacon doing anything illegal or failing to fully comply with the laws of this country. if you cannot, please stop playing the fool for Nygard and his minions. Luis Bacon is a totally innocent, law abiding party in this matter. He and his family have been subjected to a series of abuses by Nygard paid conspirators including a police raid on his home that produced zero evidence of any wrongdoing, but during which his staff were handcuffed and abused for hours. Now there is evidence that a contract on his life was taken by these thugs. This "story" that this is just a fight between two billionaires is a fiction created by Nygard to cover his despicable acts.

For the tenth time, there is only one explanation for the government's refusal to permit the U.S. Bankruptcy Court to handle this matter in a workout, as requested by the developer, which would have seen all Bahamian subcontractors paid 100%; all the work necessary for completion performed by Bahamian contractors using Bahamian labor; the resort opened in a few months; and, all the Bahamians promised resort employment, long ago fully employed. That one reason is that if a U.S. Court was permitted by the Bahamian government to take jurisdiction of this matter, all the corrupt dealings between the Chinese entities and certain well connected persons in the Bahamian political class would have been fully exposed, with lawsuits to follow. That is the whole sordid story.
