Funny to include Government spending - which is done with borrowed IDB money as a part of your income/product. LOL. If any of these clowns ever went into business they would be bankrupt before the neon light in the OPEN sign warmed up.

The good MP simply needs to understand that he is now in the same boat as native Europeans have been in Europe since 2014. The Muslim invasion of Europe cannot be spoken of in reasonable or practical terms. They are invading and anybody who speaks out against it is given the label of racist, xenophobe, or (in Germany) far-right or Nazi.

Basically, all "advanced" western countries need to order all of their citizens to commit suicide and thereby turn over their country's land and property to all of the poor, uneducated, over-breeding people in the world. Let them ALL come here, and somehow that will make their lives better. I guess when they come here they will just suddenly start living in a completely different way.

Good luck to them. They will discover that they will still be poor - just with different dirt under their foot. The same will occur in Europe. It is important to take note that the countries formerly known as Great Britain, Sweden, and France - no longer exist.

Hopefully he will include in his investigation some consideration of this issue:

An ordinary Bahamian goes into a bank and opens a savings account. The produce all of the needed documents: passport, new NIB smart card, power bill showing residential address and/or letter from cohabitant, former bank reference, employment letter, a statement of predicted levels of per month, character reference from a pastor, a statement concerning the source of any funds outside of their employment source, a letter from an aged and retired doctor concerning the exact or estimated shoe size of their paternal and maternal grandmothers.

The account is approved and opened. Copies and/or originals are kept by the bank of these documents.

Two months later the same person bearing the same passport and nib card, who is also personally known to bank staff enters the bank now having found that they require a checking account. Having gone thru the KYC process two months ago and being a "known customer" which is what the KYC regulations are for - they are now informed that they must produce ALL of these documents again to support their application and the bank cannot assist in any way with the copies held in their file. Basically you instantly become an unknown person without ID.

IF Mr Bethel could teach the banks not to waste time "identifying" already known customers - perhaps then they could spend time trying to uncover laundering activities. The KYC "know your custumer" regulations have been morphed into "HYC" - Harrass Your Customer.

Harrassing grandma who runs her straw shop by the boats dem aint going to stop international terrorists. BUT i guess it makes bank staff feel good for following "bank policy."

He should note therefore that banks follow "bank policy" and not the government's "KYC policy". So him changing regulations won't make any difference because banks only enforce bank policy and not government policy.

John, the point is that your comment insinuates the possibility that Bran's approval may be being withheld in the interest of "keeping the industry safe". This would also imply that having been informed by the Aviation Dept of what particular safety issues his plane falls short in, he has simply failed to correct the deficiency for a whole year and is simply "making noise."

However, a close reading of the article suggests to me that the issue being discussed is his inability to get any answer from Aviation on his application except "...theyd get to it."

My advice to him would be to find a third partner in his business ... offer them like 20% share holding ... and reapply. Be certain that this partner is either Haitian or Chinese and sprinkle just a few of their foreign words or symbols here and there upon the application paper. My belief is that his application would be returned to him with an "approved" stamp before the sun sets the same day it is submitted.

Tired of hearing silly numbers from this new Govt who refuses to reveal the public finances. Not talking about a budget - but we need actual end of month figures of income by source and expenses by category and loans and other commitment amounts and for what purpose.

Bahamians would be very willing to suffer even more to help our brothers if the govt was doing something to reduce cost of power bills. But none of that crew gone to jail yet and no LNG in sight or even planned. Power costs are our hurricane Sir and just as urgent.

Yes, we provide all kinds of things. If you open a savings account today, and go back next week to open a checking account they play like they don't know you. KYC? How come you don't "Know Your Customer" who you just met last week and verified?

Meanwhile not a single money launderer has ever appeared on the front page of the newspapers having been captured.

Birdie...i think you make a good point that a lot of these quantity vs quality people are missing. YES they may be "in school" but what the heck are they learning. I guess the D average answers that question along with the murder rate.

So to them i say go ahead and invade us. You will still be living in the same Hell-hole you came from in effect because you are simply transforming the Bahamas into one.

Okay, so we are now having the same problem here that Europe is having with Syrians and other Arabs.

This is a serious thing. We have to play the way the game is played. Bahamians - STOP buying condoms and other forms of contraceptives. Make the babies. Have one every 11 months. DO NOT worry about where the food will come from or how you will afford school uniform or books or anything whatsoever. children are king. The United Nations, unicef, caricom, or some other group will take care of your children.

The survival of the Bahamian genome and culture is at stake. Get busy y'all. Turn off them TV and find something else to do. The world is currently experiencing a new form of genocide whereby one culture annihilates another simply by out-breeding them. This is the new race. This is the new game. You have seen it operating here already. Now it is being taken to another level. Read about what has been happening in Europe since 2014.

Genocide by procreation. I guess this is one of those things that "nobody ever thought of before" like when the planes were flown into the twin towers. Brand new invention. They don't drop bombs - they drop babies.
