What disposable income?

Everyone is struggling to barely make ends meet because the cost of everything in this country is already beyond absurd. 95% of Bahamians have a balance of less than $10,000 in their personal savings account, the average balance is actually $704.00. This information is straight from the Central Bank of the Bahamas.

WOW

This government is doing a magnificent job making sure they turn their backs on all Bahamians.

What is there to be undecided about?

Taxing businesses for doing business with other businesses goes completely against the entire point of Freeport and the Hawksbill Creek Agreement in the first place. I would suggest some common sense to start being used by those "governing" this country but that would require a brain.

If they want to get rid of the confusion then VAT itself has to be eliminated completely on January 1st, 2015.

**Gov't Vat Error Slammed As 'Downright Ignorance'**

Good because it is their incompetence that has created nothing but confusion across the entire country. Not one single business should even attempt to register for VAT that is being shoved down everyone's throat. Perhaps next time, if there is a next time, they should listen to the advice of Bahamians and others who do good business within the country instead of wasting money on a group of individuals from New Zealand for "advice" when they themselves are in fact suffering because of VAT.

They want to block access to the outside world for Bahamians if companies such as Amazon do not register for VAT in the Bahamas?

This is getting more ridiculous by the minute.

Here you go, I managed to find some pictures which were taken a few days ago according to the website. I am not a contractor but if that has cost them 50 million dollars so far something is very wrong.

It appears you are correct about a lawsuit.

If VAT is charged on bonded goods in Freeport I sense a massive lawsuit is on the horizon.
