All of a sudden the Judges are nailing everyone to the cross,
creating more problems for this society amidst this pandemic.
Pile 'em all into fox hill, really good social distancing in there!
Compound the economic plight by grabbing money from those who can least afford it.
Fines and imprisonment for the homeless no less. Most of whom have mental health issues
Seems a sermon on having a heart and soul would be a good thing all around!
Since when has creating more problems in trying to solve a problem been a good idea?

If we were that desperate for 2500 swabbs to go with our few thousand test kits (obviously without swabbs?) then who among them all has been dealing in the truth?
1500 tests done is pathetic compared to all other jurisdictions.
Meanwhile, do not forget Minnis made himself the "competent Authority" and therefore in charge of everything.
Ministers of Aviation, directors of Immigration, et al, all and sundry would need his permission/approval I believe?

The_Oracle says...

He has done the honorable thing, which now allows Minnis to either accept or refuse to accept it.
case closed. Move on.

What a total and fundamental indictment of you all.

The problem is that our political figures find the un-ethical quicksand with such sure footedness!
Every single time, It is like they can't see forward but two feet! Initial reaction is always Lie.
Claim ignorance. Mumble.
Action, reaction, consequence. Or is it that they don't care, once elected they're above being questioned?
We are all familiar with the attendant arrogance that comes with high office.

The_Oracle says...

Woah, nice way to slip in that 2 became 6!! Can Dr. Sands not count?
Isn't it ironic that they set the rules, break them themselves, and then set up massive penalties
for the public breaking them.
Anyway, that we gained 250 test kits or swabbs or whatever is probably a good thing
Now can Someone get Dr. Sands to use the damn things?

Ha, wait Til liquor stores open up, it will be a major fiasco of drunken debauchery!
Fellas gonna be horsing back rum before they even reach the cashier! 90% of drivers will be drunk!
Will make prior independence beach party celebrations look like a church service!
You think food lines were long! All created by the P.M, the self declared tea totaling Competent Authority no less, who does not think through the ramifications if his actions. Nor apparently do his advisors.
His A thru Z shopping days mess, unnecessary. Again, he created the panic buying, long lines. His closure of everything followed by opening of support businesses for those who he exempted initially. Flip flopping around reacting to his own mistakes.
Amateur at best.
Harsh? Not as harsh as the next few years are gonna be.

Can you imagine the preferential treatment and availability of "Privileges for sale"
under the PLP?

Just another hand out line we stand in.
Yet we are so sovereign.

The main issue/barrier for online shopping is the banks, and their avoidance of integrating CC/debit transactions into retailers point of sale systems. (U.S.and First world Banks are not in the CC machine rental business)
No integration, no secure online purchasing.
Hell, we still have banks with non chipped cards!
