In the case of the food stores the Government has created a bigger problem than the original.
Sudden and frequent changes of lockdowns, curfews, amendments (which few in government seem to read, even fewer of the public) and Exemptions (also called loopholes).
This 5 day lockdown has caused a new run of panic shopping, so your seniors are gonna starve as they're completely intimidated by the "survival of the fittest" mentality gathered around your food store doors.
The alphabet soup method isn't understood by the majority and especially not by the Food store Security Guards.

Name and shame, that's the only thing left. Government has blown their credibility 6 ways to hell and back. Name and shame.
Arranging "terms" for past due is one thing, but i'd be willing to bet none of them stay current even if they honor "payment plans on arrears".
Same as utility bill arrears.

I'd say the ratio is more like 100,000 defying not just the orders but the underlying sensibility of the orders.
Think about that.
And yes, the innocent always suffer for the guilty.
Tough decisions to be made, and tough consequences if made or unmade.

Does 311 ring in each respective island it is dialed from via cell phones, or are all calls answered in Nassau?
A simple thing but if officers on the street are supposed to corroborate people out and about with the control room on their island.........

U.S. and I believe England are planning to use Hotels, However G.B. hotels are closed and moldy.
Not exactly good for respiratory patients.
Another Samaritans purse Tent hospital would be good, has Govt Inquired about that?

Folks, we have one Prime minister, who is a Doctor. Perhaps he knows and realizes that if we have an outbreak in the Bahamas, we are done. Finished.
Better to take a few weeks of economic pain and personal inconvenience together than have funerals 7 days a week for months with a more permanent economic blow.
The idiocy I see on social media is mind blowing. Mass Testing Bahamians? WITH what KITS?
Get with the program as it is, do your best. Stop perpetuating fake news and rumors.
Watch some videos from Italy. Not pretty at all. Overwhelmed.
Meanwhile the more exemptions issued the less teeth the effort has.
One last point, Perhaps if the Government actually fines and or imprisons a few for non compliance perhaps we will all take this for the serious situation it is?
I'd be willing to bet compliance will tighten right up!

Does not the Bible say "the Lord helps those who help themselves?
I do not believe it meant help yourselves to other peoples belongings but rather do those earthly things you must do to sustain yourselves, in mind body and spirit.
What would it do to the faith of many if Churches became epicenters of outbreaks?
A prudent move.

Sure, Many Bahamians live paycheck to paycheck, no different than our successive Governments. (what is the value of their unfunded liabilities? How many foreign medical vendors have the Government on cash sales only?)
Many businesses also survive month to month.
Employees don't deserve unpaid leave any more than a business deserves to bleed out on payroll without income, possibly without supplies to sell.
What do you think will happen when a positive case is tied to a business location? I think the public will shut them down, with zero patronage. A rumor has that potential in this age of fake news.
This situation is going to affect every aspect of life, globally.
Where is government going to find the money to buy ventilators (that don't exist) or needed meds?
We suffer from hospital Bed shortages in normal times!
No, unfortunately our politicos, Civil servants and a large % of the population don't look beyond that 5 year cycle.
