"*ShotSpotter has been working and providing the necessary data needed*"

Has shotspotter led to the capture of anyone seconds after a crime? What percentage of gun crimes has Shotspotter resulted in the same? That is the only possible success measure for the system. Anyone within 2 miles of gunfire could report it, our neighborhoods are sardine cans.

Does anyone remember when the last commissioner proclaimed they'd solved the murder problem a few weeks into the COVID lockdown? No murders at night for weeks on end. Of course they denied effusively that the cessation had anything to do with the curfew. You know what the criminals did? They kicked off a spree of never before seen daylight murders.

I'm waiting to hear about the increase in in prison murders.

These guys just dont think far enough.

"*lot of sub-sector jobs should be created as well as empower a lot of Bahamians and especially young people in the agriculture space as well,” Mr Sweeting told reporters.*"

I dont know who does the analysis at the ministry, but I'm betting noone going into the farming business is building a model where they intend to hire and "*empower*" young Bahamians. They will be looking for the cheapest labour around to exploit. People who will work 16 hours in the blazing sun for pennies and wont complain. Also, has anyone done an analysis on the illegal drugs that pass through this country and the percentage that is marijuana? Marijuana legalization will not stop the illegal drugs transshipment in marijuana or any other drug. Just as criminals now raid farms of sheep goats chickens and produce, they will also do the same with marijuana. The only difference may be the automatic fire power when they come for their tings. Officials havent done one wit of risk analysis on this thing, like turn left on red, it's all roses

They should have cancelled the ceremony when they saw the first horse.

Thats disappointing. The one good thing about disappointment, it makes you want to work harder.

"*in 2012, bystanders watched a gruesome scene as a surrey horse, with tourists collapsed in the corner of Dowdeswell and Christie Streets. One woman on scene called it disturbing,*"

I saw one of those horses pulling a carriage this week and all I could feel was pity. It must have been the same one in the pic, because I'd hope there isnt more than 1 looking like that. It looked half starved and on the verge of collapsing. We're clearly going to wait until it does. **This is abuse. Horses should have powerful heads, thick strong necks and fat bellies**.. unless they of the Arabian variety which these clearly aren't. **The ministry needs to do better than this, we can "see"**

**I cannot believe these people come out in their Sunday best, with matching purse and put up pretty blue ribbon to celebrate putting starving horses to work**

"*verdict resulted from numerous errors - including one made by the Bahamian Parliament in 2010 when it changed the IBC Act. Sir Brian said the reforms, whether MPs at the time intended it or not,...*"

Our **poor quality MPs**, their willingness to bang on the desk for anything, accept anything once the leader wants it and their clear absence of any analytical skills is one of our country's greatest risks. **I'm positive some of them dont even read the Bill's they vote for.** And if they dont read they certainly dont analyze what might be negative repercussions of changes. **And then what about the Senate? The body that's supposed to have the really deep legal knowledge and is supposed to catch these legal traps with their crack legal minds and eagle eyes? Well today they've bastardized it to a place where you go for political experience, the exact polar opposite of its purpose**. I remember reading the CEB bill and my first impression was, who wrote this thing? It read like a C grade college assignment. But they approved it
