Of course lots of the positive tests are linked to travel....you have to test to travel so you are likely to find more cases of the endemic virus. it will be circulating locally, just people won't be testing if they aren't really illl...particularly as symptoms are now the same as a cold...
This article is so full of conjecture and lacking in information supported by actual data that I am surprised it was published. The masks have done nothing...nowhere in the world has stopped this virus, including here. Its Hubris and if anything you are convincing people they are protecting themselves when they aren't.
Most of the other Caribbean islands have dropped all restrictions. If The Bahamas wants to remain competitive it should do the same. There are NO restrictions that can be put in place that will stop an even more infectious version of the virus. None of these non pharmaceutical work...its taking these guys more than 2 years to work it out
Your Megan and Harry comment is even more ridiculous. The colour of her skin is of no relevance at all, the fact that the couple wanted a lifestyle outside of the public eye, but still wanted the British public to pay for it is the issue.
You need to evidence what you are saying. There was a study in the Lancet released last week that clearly states that there was none of the restrictions that countries put in place had any real impact on outcomes. Take the UK for example, England has no rules in place, Scotland has continued with masking, Scotland has a higher infection rate...therefore your statement is likely to be wrong

soooo....cases have risen even with most of the protocols being in place, so they are not technically making an impact?
If you can't drop them when there are 5 cases then when can you? Other islands are open up, no testing, no masks...so we are being left behind
