" I mean, we have to come to grips with the fact that we can't eliminate the risks, it's impossible and COVID-19 is going to be with us for the rest of our lives so we have to learn to live with this and mitigate the risk as much as possible."
So if the Minister of Tourism said the above, why are Bahamians being forced to suffer another month of lockdown?
Figures! I guess the PM only see it fit to free the people when our foreign masters are permitted to enter the country. Until then the servants are confined to the barnyards.
You can barricade all ya doors and windows, sit people as far as you want on planes, sanitize everything you want, you can still contract the virus. Without adequate testing all these measures will be futile in the end. Actually even with adequate testing it will still be futile because the numbers will be more, longer lockdowns, more depressed people, more domestic violence, and even more broken economy. This one of those cross ya fingers and push on type situations.
I totally agree! Not exactly sure where the fine comes into place, but i will just assume the cookie jar running out of cookies. Must be this cookie monster government.
I want know who making sure the people in lyford cay and albany are abiding by these stay at home and social distancing measures. I wonder if their beaches are closed? When was the last time you heard.....lyford cay resident was arrested for a small amount of marajuana? A bunch of laws meant to oppress and punish Bahamian citizens and label them as criminals. I guess when your black and poor you get no breaks.
Im not religous, but i am not going to knock church goers who need to fellowship. Some people need shirnks, some people need the fellowship of church to survive mentally and emotionally in these difficult times. To each his own.
