Got to hand it to Minnis. He loves everything foreign, e.g. illegal Haitian aliens, deep pocket foreign investors, low-cost Red Chinese construction workers, Peruvian and Filipino maids for the Lyford Cay community, low-cost Cuban teachers, and so on and so forth. Meanwhile his failed policies are perpetuating our very dysfunctional D- public education system that for the most part produces essentially illiterate Bahamians who no one wants to hire, not even himself. My oh my, what an evil, arrogant and nasty monster we have as PM.

> “It’s because customers are shopping the way they always shop. They put the groceries in the shopping cart and they’re just walking outdoors with the carts as though the cashiers are not sitting there."

The cashiers were allowing their family members and friends to simply bypass the checkout and payment process with their unbagged groceries in carts pushed out of the store to their waiting vehicles. Nothing but outright theft with the cashiers as a group agreeing to turn a blind to what has been happening. Rupert Roberts needs to fire/replace most of his very dishonest cashiers and hire trusted people dedicated to carefully monitoring the checkout and payment process. He then needs to lower the outrageous prices currently being charged on non-perishable staple food items because of his failure to implement better procedures to control theft.

> PRIME Minister Dr Hubert Minnis has instructed Immigration Minister Elsworth Johnson to form a “strike force” targeted at aggressively pursuing undocumented migrants throughout the country.

>Minnis said: “I have given the minister with responsibility for immigration (Elsworth Johnson) the task of establishing a strike force whose mandate will be to aggressively pursue illegals both throughout New Providence and the Family Islands...."

Minnis must think the Bahamian people are stupid. As minister of immigration it has been Elsworth Johnson's duty since May 2017 to aggressively round up and expeditiously deport illegal Haitian aliens. But Elsworth Johnson is a well known Haitian sympathizer, as is our creole speaking minister of immigration, Frankie Campbell, and our minister of foreign affairs, Darren Henfield.

Minnis very deliberatedly appointed these three Haitian sympathizers (Johnson, Campbell and Henfield) to their respective cabinet posts knowing full well that their ministerial portfolios involve many issues associated with illegal Haitian aliens, including ongoing close contact with representatives of their huge invasive force in The Bahamas. So who does Minnis think he's fooling by instructing Elsworth Johnson to form a special strike force to deal with a most serious problem that he should have all along been aggressively addressing as minister of immigration? Once again Minnis is just proving himself to be nothing but a bag of most insincere hot air. The illegal Haitian aliens now know for sure that Minnis has their backs because a well known Haitian sympathizer like Johnson is not going to do diddledee squat about our many illegal Haitian alien problems.

Not all black people are corrupt but I can understand how the corrupt Minnis-led FNM government has you and many like you thinking the way you do. Minnis is a shameful disgrace to the black triangle on our Bahamian flag.

> Tribune Business also understands that BPL management was advised against the well cooling solution by Wartsila, which urged the state-owned utility to instead purchase a closed radiator system, but executives decided to press ahead despite the supplier’s recommendation. The drilling woes, though, have finally forced them to alter course.

>When asked why the cooling situation had not been thought of and addressed much sooner, given both the size of the $95m investment and the long lead time - the deal for the engines’ purchase, shipping and installation was signed in early March 2019, almost one year ago - Mr Bannister suggested the answer stemmed from the complete confidence engineers have in their chosen solutions.

>“Let me say this,” he told Tribune Business. “There is engineering thinking and there is practical thinking. When I look at something I like to have two to three options due to reality. An engineer may have confidence in one thing working.

bpl should have long ago been stripped from desmond bannister's cabinet portfolio and donovan moxey should have long ago been fired!

Minnis needs to tell us how much has been spent so far in drilling the four wells to less than half of their required depth of 800 feet, inclusive of the cost of the several very expensive broken diamond drill bits? We must cut our losses now if there are clear indications the required depth of the wells cannot be achieved with the necessary high degree of certainty of being able to tap into the required reliable supply of cooling water.

It's all too clear now that Minnis was never fit to be PM. He and his hand picked incompetent appointees like Bannister and Moxy have caused nearly two billion dollars to be added our nation's total debt since May 2017.

Destroy the murderous pitbulls and lockup their owner/handler for at least 2 years assuming the woman lives. If the woman dies or is permanently mamed, lockup the owner/handler for an additional 5 years, i.e. minimum prison time of 7 years.
