just put up or shut up dr. sands!

i suspect Dr. Sands and the entire corrupt Minnis-led FNM cabinet are just doing whatever they can to distract the public's attention away from all of the corruption and fraud involving BPL/BEC and many of the major relief and restoration contracts entered into in the aftermath of Hurricane Dorian.

Thankfully the geologic background of every square inch of the Bahamas, both above water and under water, is very different from the Gulf of Mexico and the coastal areas much closer to Latin American land masses. There isn't a drop of oil to be discovered by exploration anywhere within our nation's territorial borders except (1) what was blown into our waters by Dorian from the extensively breached Equinox/Statoil storage facility, (2) what was in the illegal ballast/bilge discharges from Carival's cruise ships over decades (in addition to all of the shiit from their passengers), and (3) what has been negligently leaked over many years from Shell's sea to shore transfer facility at BPL's Clifton Pier plant. Yet the very greedy James Smith continues to be a very willing participant in the swindling of foolish foreign investors who have been conned into exploring for oil in our territorial waters. And just like there are many dishonest lawyers, there are many dishonest geologists.

It's absurd that Bahamian employers can obtain a work permit for Haitian nationals who arrived in our country illegally by paying as little as $2,000 each year for their permit. Firstly, Haitian nationals should never be able to apply for a work permit or residency permit of any kind while illegally residing in the Bahamas and without being able to provide irrefutable and unequivocal evidence of their legal arrival in our country with no overstay of the allowed period of their visit. Secondly, the minimum residency or work permit fee for Haitian nationals should be at least $5,000 each year.

And an awful lot of oil blown from Equinor/Statoil's storage facility in Eastern Grand Bahama, and leaked from Shell's sea to shore oil transfer facilities at BPL's Clifton Pier plant, and contained in the illegal ballast/bilge discharges from Carnival's cruise ships, etc., not to mention all of the shiit dumped into our pristine waters by Carnival's cruise ships, have only made the situation much worse for marine life in our territorial seas.

Minnis is as deceitful, arrogant and nasty as they come. I did my best to warn all of you in the run up to the May 2017 general election to think, think, think before ever letting such an incompetent buffoon become PM. But he nevertheless managed to take great advantage of the wave of anti-PLP, anti-Christie sentiment at the time.....but that won't help him next time around given that the vast majority of Bahamians now realise the FNM and PLP are just two different sides of the very same corrupt coin. Most Bahamian voters should be clamouring to vote for an independent candidate running in their constituency in the next general election. Our next government hopefully will be a coalition of elected independents who have no great personal or family ties to either the very corrupt PLP or equally corrupt FNM.

Operation Sovereign Bahamas simply wants our immigration laws to be vigorously enforced as they should be. It's absolutely absurd that so far only a couple hundred of the many thousands of illegal Haitian aliens have been deported since Hurricane Dorian. And it's especially insulting to the Bahamian people to know that many more than just a few hundred new illegal Haitian aliens have arrived on our shores since Dorian. We are still swimming backwards when it comes to the ongoing invasion of our country by overwhelming numbers of illegal Haitian aliens and its because the Minnis-led FNM government has yet to put in place an aggressively enforced and sustained campaign of weekly round ups and deportations. Minnis's failure to satisfactoriy address this most important and vexing issue in the minds of the vast majority of Bahamian voters will be his downfall in the next general election. But because no one can stomach the PLP and Brave Davis, a coalition of independents candidates running in the next general election may need to get together to form the next government. An ever increasing number of voters are finally waking up to the fact that the FNM and PLP are just two sides of the same coin of corruption that has brought our country to its knees.

You may as well save your breath 'mangogirl'.....'Chucky' is either of Haitian descent or wishes he was of Haitian descent.....but he's only too happy to be living in the Bahamas as it declines into the kind of country he wants it to be.....i.e. another Haiti.
