The government does have the power. People were injured and one killed. They should have a department that investigates and make sure the reason it happens is prevented from happening again. If you blow this off it's not different than the murderer walking free to do it again. All lives do matter.

When the courts order the remains of the burned vessel it will be revealed, unless that disappears. The courts aren't going to allow this to be swept under the rug. The people that were injured and loss of life deserve the truth.

I don't know what is best, but I've been to Jamaica more than once and their economy is a lot better than the Bahama's. I'm not trying to be offensive, it's just true. They have a industrial economy and tourism. Their tourism is booming. Countless oceanfront resorts, mostly all inclusive. Seems to be extremely popular among the tourists. The Jamaican's seem happy your there. They grow the best coffee I've ever had. Construction and road's repairs are common place. It's happy and flourishing environment. Unfortunately the Bahamas seem depressed economically and emotionally drained. You have to be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I don't know what the answer is, but I wish something would create change for the positive for everyone.

Totally agree! Marijuana should have been legalized years ago. Get the drug dealers off the street. Alcohol is worse than pot. Look at all the taxes that could be collected. The government always needs money. Put some kind of tax on it. Save money by not criminalizing it and hurt the drug dealers a little bit anyway. It's a win win situation. The states are finally coming around. In California there is a marijuana store on every corner.
