Florida was hit hard. The Keys are only accessible by helicopter. Most houses are a total loss. No power for more than 8 million. No water. It's a mess.

Maybe you think I believe the States are better than the Bahamas. Wuld you like to trade. I have wanted to live in the Bahamas for 30 plus years now. I can't work there and that's the only reason I'm not there. My mom lived there for years, and I visited a lot. We do have friends on the island. She's gone now, but I still long to be there. There are more opportunities in the States just from the size of the Country. I used to waitress and bartend here. I guess if it were allowed I would of done the same there. Hospitality jobs are kind of fun. I drive a school bus now and have my CDL, don't know if that's required there. Not that you care, but my heart is there. It's kind of hard when your longing to be somewhere else. I can only visit so often. It's so expensive. I'm not rich. I do have a decent job. I don't know why I told you all of this. Maybe because a lot of my comments seem to not take the way I mean them at all. Sometimes I think I should just read and make no comments. Maybe someone enjoys the info I add.

yes, some were evacuated for safety. and they won't send emergency workers in to endanger themselves when they warned you to get out. they'll give you money if you have no way to go. they bused homeless out. they do expect you to use your common sense. some are stubborn and stay, then they want to be rescued and they want go in if it's too dangerous. they will as soon as they can.

Good, I'm glad I was wrong. I was worried about so many people being left with no one to help if needed. I was worried about the Bahamian people. I care.

your right! there are scientific reasons that these things could of occurred. believing is a choice, we have free will. I choose to believe and with Jesus in my heart I enjoy my life to the fullest. I'm not a stick in the mud. i am not judgemental. My heart is open to all. I love to party and dance the night away in the arms of someone I love. And I worship with people that I enjoy their company. I don' enjoy all churches, some are just not for me. And that's ok.

Actually it is true. It's now happened in Tampa as well.
