The truth of this nation after independence is a very sad story and the lead character was a criminal mastermind who did more harm than good to the nation. The full truth will come out and Bahamians will have to rethink their pride in the man. History and the truth all will have their day, these politicians should remember that!
If the businessmen who call themselves preachers are praying for Bah Mar, the place better get a witch doctor to come and cast a spell to ward of their evil.
How about we let PCG live for one week in his constituency, dodging bullets, drawing water from the government tap, going to the bathroom in an out house, dealing with the filth, and shopping at the Chinese store, all the while trying to sleep with the constant racket of gunshots, traffic, and arguments. Then he can come and tell us how he has helped these people in his 41 years of being their M.P. What an excellent job he has done.
The environment of The Bahamas is The Bahamas #1 asset. The fact that our government after 40 odd years of independence has yet to introduce an environmental protection act shows how inept the government of the Bahamas really is. It shows how little they really know and understand their own country. We are led by amateurs at best who have little idea of the true nature of and treasure The Bahamas is. How many M.P's can swim much less dive and that will show you how little they really know of this nation.
All this does is tell me how pathetic our government is. The Bahamas #1 asset is our environment and it takes a private group to put the governments feet to the fire in order to TRY and get them to protect our environment. We are governed by lecherous morons!
That was a favorite scheme by the Government when we gained independence, sell your business to this or that PLP supporter for whatever they offer you or we will close you down and you will get nothing. This is how certain family's got very rich very quickly. Glad to say that for some of the family's the chickens are coming home to roost now that they do not have their benefactor to prop them up. This government is trying to help some of these people but it is not so easy to be blatantly corrupt these days. Let me also add that this corrupt practice was used on Bahamians as well as foreign interests.
Potters Cay is a ghetto and one of the biggest polluters of our harbour. The amount of plastic and trash that the vendors throw or is blown into the harbour is disgraceful. Then we have the sunken boats that have been there fore years and have been leaking fuel into the water for just as long. Whatever ministry that is in charge of Potters Cay should just hang their heads in shame and publicly state that they are failures at managing Potters Cay. Come to think of it what if anything does ANY government ministry manage in a professional manner?
Mr. Gray is a PLP prince and as such will never do the right thing and resign. These princes believe they are anointed by god but we know the devil is in charge where they are concerned.
