This government is better than David Copperfield at the smoke and mirrors game. They are magicians with our taxes, see how fast they make them disappear!
The PAC needs to do a complete audit of Urban now. The public wants to know how these two geriatric fools are spending our money. If they really are about helping the poor they would want value for money, not give the money to a PLP crony! They are just helping them and theirs, not the people that really need help.
So what in the hell are we paying taxes for? A private company has to step in and do what our government is supposed to do because our government sucks flamingo balls. How much does government steal from us too license our cars and yet they can't even maintain our roads, useless twits. We pay taxes out the ying yang and our government does not provide us with even the basics, safety, electric, roads, education, water, a healthy environment, these guys just can not give us the basics, pathetic!
What an excellent article! Says what everyone I respect has been saying all along. To tell you the truth I think the Carnival money would have been better thrown into that black hole/slush fund called BAMSI. There is a chance some Bahamian might get an education at BAMSI, carnival is just a weekend party that really stands little chance of advancing our nation.
Bodie has been kissing Braves ass since election. The best guess is Brave has promised him a seat to run for. The Bar would have to reinstate him but that will not happen. Anyway if Bodie could play with our money he would be happy and the nation would suffer. The sad part about the situation is there are people that would actually trust these fellows. Ah well the saying goes, "there is a fool born every day."

The only money maker in Exuma in the 70's and 80's was drug smuggling. Plenty easy money, then, but we are paying dearly for it now!

This country needs a Teddy Roosevelt to give the people a "Square Deal". For some reason I am thinking that Brent Symonette might be that man.

He must need money. Easy money is easy to spend, you just do not value it like money you actually work for.
