I have no comfort that VAT taxes will be used to pay down our debt as we where told the funds would be used. Just another lie.

This article went right over your head hey Birdie. It is so sad that in this day and age we still have Bahamians that will excuse government mismanagement due to party affiliation. That is the definition of a traitor as far as I am concerned. Party over country, right Birdie!

If you had doubt's and did nothing, you sir where negligent in you duty to the Bahamian people. Also very interesting the sip, sip that the contractor was your election general. Can you say CRONY or conflict of interest. Just from these two points you should resign.

That he did NOT says a whole lot. If he had you would have thrown a fit, right Birdie. The man was screwed either which way. Now the Foreign man is buying up our oldest and best real estate and the Government will bend over backwards to make sure they are happy. Believe in Bahamians, The biggest lie of the election.

Government will not do anything to move the redevelopment of the harbour front east of East St. That land is owned by old Bahamian white family's. Government has practiced economic racism against these family's since independence. Look at how fast they have approved the Chinese plans, yet they will not answer the question as to how high you can build at the Union dock. Those property owners, all Bahamian, have been asking for years and government has refused to answer their questions. Government is squarely at fault for the state of our Harbour front!

Also, the question must be asked, what retard would grant a man that has a history of neglect to horse's a permit to import more. The public treasury and the Humane society have spent thousands on horse's this man neglected in the past, now you give him a permit to bring in more? Ministry of Agriculture once again, VAG is a frickin' moron! Stupid is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. What idiot's!

This is going to be very damaging to the image of the Bahamas. I have seen the pictures of where these horses are to be kept and, nope, not acceptable. The usual cry of trying to hold a poor man down will fall on deaf ears around the world. This will not end well for the horses or for our brand.

TAL, I like the idea but I do not trust ANYONE in government to manage it. The largest amount of scams in the U.S are centered on healthcare and they have a system of checks and balances, reward whistle blowers, freedom of information, and a pretty honest government. We have NONE of that. Do you trust our government (civil service and M.P.'s), I don't. These guy's (PLP) take the cake for sketchy and untrustworthy but corruption knows no bounds in The Bahamas.

Any Bahamian who has an once of patriot in their bones better come forward and speak if they know of any underhanded dealings. The future of the country is at stake, the future of your children is at stake. You can send letters, or make phone calls to news outlets or the police. These politicians and their ilk need to FEAR US, not the other way around! sound off, blow the whistle, make noise, this is our country!
