When have governments estimates ever been correct. They simply do not know, what they have, what they are spending, or what they have the private sector collecting for them as they can not even collect the taxes owed to them. The Government of the Bahamas is a massive failure! We are ruled by idiots who only care about their power and money.

What about gas, they tax the hell out of gas already and then we must pay 7.5% on top of that, so in effect they are taxing you on a tax. Utter THEFT!

In the U.S. they have Freedom of Information and they know where their money is going. Also in the U.S. you get a "return" for your taxes. They have good schools, roads, water, electric, safety, and a functioning government that works FOR them. The same CAN NOT be said about the Bahamas. In the Bahamas the taxpayer is being ripped off, period! So madam, what service am I getting that is worth the tax I am being forced to pay?

The only choice people have is to cut back on spending. I wonder what would happen if that was the only choice government had? The only thing missing from the crime the government is committing against the people of the Bahamas is the gun stuck to our heads when they steal our money. When they take our money and we get nothing in return, that is outright THEFT!

Victimization is alive and well in the Bahamas, do not fool yourself. The politicians of this country can be equated with an organization such as the mafia and they are just as dangerous. As with the mafia it is all about the money and the politicians aim to get theirs no matter what. I do not even feel safe posting on this website but sometimes one must take chances for what is right.

The PLP is well known for making things up. They have their own version of history, they have their own version of crime stats, and now they have their own version of our jobs numbers. The problem is the amount of undereducated Bahamians that actually believe their nonsense, it is quite frightening actually.

Once again Birdy, your third grade thought process of "he did it so it is O.K. for me to do it" does not hold water. If HI jumped off a bridge should PCG do so as well? If so can HI please jump off a bridge!
