Do the vendors have business licenses? Bathrooms? Bathroom toilets will only get clogged up from things thrown in them. Next is,” the government needs to get a plumber to fix the bathrooms “. You will need to hire a person to clean and maintain the bathrooms as well as to all facilities like this , around the island.
Wow, I have not forgotten that Bamsi’ contractor did not have insurance and the Bahamian people cost about 2 million when Brave was the minister of Works. How did a ppl operative get a contract for a building valued 2mill with hour insurance to cover him or his company? You try to get a house loan for 2 million from the bank and see if you can get it without insurance. That is terrible. No one got fired for that crap. How can someone in the PM office get a contract in exuma moorings and the PM , the CEO of finance doesn’t know anything about it. I think a lot of the population see people in government enriching themselves , family, friends and lovers and the local citizen can’t find a job. The politicians use our money to have banquets, parties, go on long trips to see the world and we get nothing but the Bills !!! You then wonder why so many people feel hopeless and the suicide rate skyrockets. There might be a correlation of hopelessness, despair and cabinet ministers having fun with the increase in suicides. We need solutions for the less fortunate.
And there you have it, from the horse’s mouth. Regardless of how competent the candidate is, he will vote for the party. That is not the way to go, but , it is what it is. We vote party and not candidate!!
Stunning! Who is running the Agency ,and who is running the country? Why does this always happen and no one is held responsible for it? Fire the top !! It is costing us VAT increases!
Ok , we need more ambulances, traffic lights fixed, potholes repaired with real Tar, ticket all truck and jitney drivers whom travel the streets while polluting the air with cancer causing smoke, freedom of information act, campaign finance laws for political rally’s and contributions, stringent laws to govern inside trading for politicians whom get rich off being “In The Know”. , and much more. Oh , do something with the jitney drivers that take the short cut through the fish fry to avoid traffic and much more. All of these are felt by the population.
We do not need to kiss up to the states because we are self sufficient. We can provide jobs for ours lives and defend our territory if needed. I agree with you , don’t kiss up to them.
The PM can say what he wants , Marco Rubio knows exactly what is happening in the country . We will have to answer for what ever is happening. We need the freedom of information act, we need campaign finance laws, we need the worst of the worst defined , so we can hang , and we need laws that put shady politicians in jail for insider trading. Otherwise, we are chasing our tails. I am not voting until I see action.
