Amen , my friend. I agree. The bottom line is, we need to move forward as a country and abandon the ridiculous homophobic views we have as a people. They serve no one.
You're right; they should speak out on the pastors. I guess innocent until proven guilty. But a statement confirming that they do not support that behavior would not do them any harm.
This government is past ridiculous. Why now is Wilchcombe saying what everyone has said all along? Either way they were going to piss some group off- the church or the number boys.
I am not a religious person in the least, but if we are such a God-fearing nation, then why are we more afraid of Sebas and co. than God himself? Well we all know the answer- because the number boys are supporting our campaigns and lifestyle and we've made too many promises to them to shut them down now. Less havoc will come from pissing off the churches so that's the route we will go. Fine, go that route- but why did you even bother with the waste of f*kin time and money to put on a referendum?!!
why does this man keep referring to a "small group of men". This isn't no small group, it's white and blue collar criminals that do whatever they damn well please because there are no consequences to bad behavior in this town.
We are breeding and creating criminals with our selfish ideas of entitlement , lack of education and complete lack of morals. This isn't a couple guys on the block who decide to make even with someone else. This is a constant culture of criminality. The PM needs to wake up if this is his bright idea "***We put it all on a map and therefore we know what we’re doing now.*** "- wtf? If you knew this all along then why has this continued for so long? That's not an acceptable answer or reasoning by any means. Enforce the law and weed out the corrupt individuals from the top down. start there , let people know you're not playing and then people will start thinking twice!!!
Rory, Sometimes I wonder if you are employed by the Tribune to keep online readers active on the comment scene. However, after reading your filthy comments today, I have come to the conclusion that you are simply a troll doing what trolls do best- trying to obtain the most uproar ever in a reaction from others.
On the subject of comments, did the Tribune really disable comments or was that a technical glitch? Because this morning I noticed comments disabled on another unrelated article as well.
***but you are talking to the Prime Minister and the Prime Minister will hear you and the Prime Minister has not joined with the Minister of Finance,” he said.***
I think he needs to form a committee that evaluates whether or not this man's brain functions well enough to continue as PM. He can't think or talk straight.
agreed. Jokers is correct. I am all for new and positive ideas, but just because there is a new color on the block doesn't mean it's automatically the right way to go. I don't care how young Bran is , he could be 35 for all I care- that don't say nothing about his ideas and plans to fix the country.
Wasn't this the same individual who opposed the marital rape law on national television and then quickly retracted/changed his statement once the uproar started? Ironic given that the DNA has an active "womens comittee" or something that stays on the radio talk shows discussing womens rights. They need to convince the leader of the party before they take to the public.
You can't diss Christie and Ingraham and then have Moncur on the otherside. That man is a trip!
Great cause, but not so sure how our PM qualifies for this.
I think his efforts would be better spent trying to fix the social ailments of our youth before he steps abroad. Then I would definitely support this man. Until we weed out the corruption and make education a priority, changnig the social fabric and family unit of our county, we will not move forward. There are plenty issues at home worth rooting for Mr. Christie.
