We just have some antiquated laws that needs to be changed. To let these two jokers back on the street would be a real injustice to the Bahamian people.

This is really unfortunate. But the reality is that the CID units at the various stations throughout New Providence have all been closed down and the police nor the government has said anything about it. I know usually the CID unit from the Wulff Road Station would deal with matters in their area, which would be Blair. We always take two steps back.

Mr. Bell needs to stop trying to give Urban Renewal the praise for the drop in the murder rate but rather the hard working officers inside the Homicide Section at CDU.

This the same Carlos Lamm who has been selling dope in this country from the 80's with Sean Adderley and the very same one that the minister of education gave all those government contracts to after the election. What's really going on with that? Once again the PLP right back at it. SMT

There are two hundred police officers in the schools that really don't need to be there. All this crime carrying on and that's the government answer to the problem. This governments performance so far is utterly a failure. Urban renewal has weakened the strenght of the police force and now with school police it further depletes the manpower of the force. The government needs to return these officers to the station so that they can do what the Bahamian people are paying them to do, police this country. Hire Truancy Officers to deal with kids in schools.

Easy way to try and combat this crime problem is to take those same 200 officers around these schools and put them on this road to do what the people of the bahamas and not Bernard Nottage, is paying them to do.

Is Dr. Nottage really serious about the effects of Urban Renewal? Everynight someone comes to PMH suffering from gunshot wounds or stab wounds. If we think that the police only withheld information concerning those recent rapes and home invasions, what other information and they withholding from the country in order to make the government look good. Child please.

Hog wash. Mr. Miller really does think that all black Bahamians are stupid. When one leads he leads by example. PC can do what he wants but putting a man in charge of BEC that hasn't been a big fan of the corporation doesn't seem like much sense to me. BR defended the move saying Mr. Miller doesn't owe BEC. Lying lips are an abomination.

Mr. Laing has once again hit it right on the head. That whole thing............I can't call it a budget debate, was all about bashing the former government. Elections are over PC and his team need to take the bull by the horn and start executing their plans for this country. If they have one.

Mr. Bell need not concern himself about elections which are not behind us but rather to this raging crime problem that we are in the midst of. He needs to come out and tell us their plans for curving this problem, and please don't insult intelligent people by saying that Urban Renewal 2.0 is the answer. What a load of crap.
