Can you grasp the difference between hate and resentment. You do not have to hate a person to resent the fact that this woman has been masterful in painting a picture of herself as one absolutely entitled to lord herself over ordinary citizens -- the ones who follow the rules of actually working to support themselves and family and paying their bills, including the taxes which are then used to allow her to enjoy a lifestyle well beyond the reach of the majority of Bahamians.
It must be something in the water that causes persons to launch personal attacks if they disagree with a stance or position. Thank God for Fred Smith and his determination to fight for the protection of our environment. I wish he could be cloned.
The real question is not which person in the FNM might be better than the current leader but who is the better leader for the country between Minnis and Christie? Based on what we have seen of Christie over the past 20 months, the answer is obvious. He is so far removed from the reality of the abysmal state of the country that the FNM leader presents a clear alternative. Those in his party who cannot accept that their task should be to concentrate on regaining the Government and not fighting for leadership should take the honourable next step and leave the party.
I guess this means that if a government department makes a questionable decision, the department which will decide whether or not to have the decision reviewed is the one that made the decision. LOL.
