It's about time that the government gets serious about this case. We are a sovereign nation and should not allow this type of nonsense to take place. Bahamians are not allowed to do it and neither should anyone else. Ok AG, now win this case.
Mr. DAVIS, please go sit in a corner with your fingers on your lips! You served your time and did nothing to improve the operations at BPL. Please hush!
Ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous!! These unions are just a stumbling block to these government departments and corporations. Sorry Mr Union boss, your employees get no sympathy from me. Many are lazy and do the bare minimum, all while we the tax payers suffer.
Get out of here! Try encourage your members to be productive workers and stop wasting tax payer time and money! And btw, if they are using drugs while employed, tell them to stay home. They are only a liability and we have enough of that floating around at BPL!
So unfortunate, all this back and forth. Meanwhile, the Bahamian people continue to receive poor service and are unable to get electricity to remain on throughout the summer.......sighs. I am so sorry for my people.
I figured as much. The chairman appeared to be a Corporate leader. I really had high hopes for her. It is very unfortunate the way things turned out. I believe if she was left to do her job, BPL would have been on its way to fiscal responsibility.
**The BUT president also criticised government school tours that are done without the presence of union officials, saying this violates the parties’ agreement.**
Belinda Wilson, please go rest your nerves! All you do is create confusion. Now that you were unable to get the Director of Education role, you have become very critical of the Minister of Education. You two deserve each other....... you are both one in the same: pontificators!
The government just needs to get in there and bulldoze those places down. No questions asked. They are really playing with these people. I have no sympathy for this nonsense. We are a developing nation with standards. We should not allow them to continue to live under those s$%thole conditions!
