Ummmmmmmmm. Covid is coursing it's way through our population right now. Has it not occurred to anyone that the horse has bolted and we can no longer pretend that screening tourists entering the country is going to make a pinch of difference. We need to open our tourist industry up without any ridiculous resistances before the country is reduced to nothing but an economic lapdog of the IMF, or even worst the CCP

For anyone paying attention to what's going on in the world - all of these pscopathic instructions that came out of the WHO six months ago have done nothing but destroy small (and large) nations economies and put their sovereignty at the mercy of hostile lenders. Nothing anyone has done anywhere has made a scrap of difference in the long run. And it is not surprising because there was never any real science to any of it. Dont wear masks, wear masks, false computer models, quarantine "theories" that had never been tried before, supressing doctors from sharing positive developments on treatment until a corporate vaccine is available. It has been a bureaucratic pantomine of epic proportions that has no doubt been corrupted by special interests and power and money hungry lunatics. Minnis took the bait, suspended our human rights, and flushed our life savings down the toilet and the net result is a microscopic airborne pathogen doing whatever it was always going to do. So yes - is probably about time that we went back to some sensible democratic politics and all come together to try and figure out how we are now going to get out of this god awful mess

I am getting so annoyed for being blamed for the spread of this virus ! I look after my body and I trust my very own immune system and have never been afraid of this stupid wuhan flu. In the meantime, I have obediantly wasted a year of my life following every stupid gosh darn rule that these idiots have come up with and all I hear is that it is all the "citizens" fault. Well I tell you what. It is not my fault. The WHO's primary role for the last 50 years was to stop the spread of a virus and they failed miserably at that and now we are all following "their" advice to manage the virus - and we the citizens are failing miserably ???? These WHO lunatics need to be ignored. Sweden did nothing and their death toll is no different from their surrounding neighbours that all tried everything they could to reduce the spread. Is about time we start asking these communist sympathisers why they allowed dodgy labs in Wuhan to play around with this virus in the first place, why they initially suppressed the dangers of this virus, how they failed to stem the spread outside of Wuhan and around the globe, why they have been censoring front line health care workers that have been trying to share knowledge of cheap and easy remedies to early signs of the disease and why they are such avid proponents of a never tried before lockdown strategy. We are all going to be paying the price of this psychopathic experiment for years to come and this a...hole still wants to tell us what to do. Swedens death rate is falling to zero and no one had to get fined for going to the beach or go to jail for selling coconuts. We on the other hand have all suffered these bureaucratic fools and obediently participated in ridiculous lockdowns all year, and our death rate is going up and now the man is saying that we shouldn't come out of lockdown. Think about that ! The reality is that they have us all scared and pointing fingers at each other for breaking their insane rules - instead of asking them questions

If you haven't figured it out yet - the only place in the world that has COVID under control is Sweden. They put their heads down and pushed through the storm whilst everyone else has embraced the fear and cowered to a bunch of farsical attempts to subdue an airborne pathogen that has done nothing but prolong the inevitable - herd immunity. Papa Doc now understands that he has destroyed our economy and completely failed to protect anyone from the virus in the long term and has no choice but to prepare us for reality. I sure hope you have all been working on your own natural immune systems in the meantime

It's called "Gerrymandering" everywhere else in the world

It cracks me up whenever someone in this country, whether it be a senior politician, a customs officer or a xenophobic commentator in this forum - when they compare us to the USA or anywhere else. We are the tiniest, ragtag, most innefectual little nation in the world. We couldn't defend ourselves from two boat loads of Haitians. We have negative self-sufficiency. We are in chronic debt and basically have to borrow more money every day just to keep the lights on and put food on the table. We are a sinking ship and we are about to find out who really owns our behinds once the fallout from this self imposed covid crisis sinks in. The fact that our glorious Papa Doc assumed that we could afford to keep up with first world nations by shutting down our economy for most of 2020 is testimony to the ludicrous denial of reality in this country

Oh, guess what. The owners of the hotels don't think tourists will want to come here and remain under house arrest for their entire vacation on top of all of the other ludicrous and misguided quarantine measures, none of which have ever worked at all. Let me see now. These idiot politicians all ASSumed that they could ruin entire economic systems that have taken hundreds of years to evolve and then snap their fingers and everything would return back to how it always was.....sigh.......The denial is absolutely insane. In the meantime, we have COVID in the Bahamas and everywhere else had COVID. In spite of all the lockdowns and all the wonderful chopping and changing of WHO health experts' guidance and more coordinated abuses of power than the world has ever seen - Covid is now everywhere. Yet governments are continuing to destroy our way of life - not to keep the virus out because they could not - but rather pretending that the virus over there is any different from the virus we already got over here

These other places have been open the whole time and there is virtually zero difference in the case/morbidity rates per capita than here. But guess what. They have some semblance of an economy and they aren't bent over begging foreigners for cash bailouts. In those countries, the leaders recognized that they could not afford to follow these WHO/UN communist nutters down the yellow brick road and up sh.. creek with outta paddle, so they educated their people on a safe and sensible balance to keep moving forward - without throwing 18-year-olds in jail for trying to feed their family or arresting tourists for going to the beach. Not an ounce of brains, courage, or imagination between the bunch of our politicians - and now the man says "we are not so bold"
