There are too many cars in Nassau to have horses on the street. The car drivers can be a threat to the horses by their sometimes reckless driving. Weather conditions also are too hot in summer for them to be running up and down. I feel it is much better and safer to let them live their life in the pasture.
I agree with all comments. What was he thinking?? It was very dumb of him to leave the medal in the car. Hopefully, it will be recovered.......but I doubt it very much. Lesson learned the hard way. Don't people know about safe deposit boxes?? Not the ones kept in your home, the ones in the bank.
This sounds more like gestapo tactics to me. So 3rd world. I always thought much more of the police/defense force but their actions from the 80's-90's and even now is disgusting. I am a fan of Rodney Moncur for the most part. He does get carried away at times but I view him as the Bahamian Al Sharpton.
I would say attempted murder but not knowing the facts the shooter could have been defending himself. If that was the case he should have called the police instead of running. Then on the other hand having and shooting someone with a gun which was probably an illegal one I can see why he would have ran off.
ETJ.........You are sooooo correct. No wonder crime is so high. Don't worry, do whatever you Please. Everyone gets an "Informal Talk" and things are O.K.
What a shame. What were you thinking? Leaving an animal in a car in 80+ degrees for several hours with no ventilation is going to get the same results as leaving a child there.
