Yes it is.......New York City, Chicago, Detroit, Miami, Newark, etc.

Those cities you mention are by far larger than Nassau and yes crime is everywhere. The US Embassy has every right to warn American citizens of the crime situation. There was a time one could visit the Bahamas and have a crime free visit. Now all that has changed. So continue to get agitated if that's what you choose to do!!

It's about time they did something. These derelict cars are a real sore sight and makes the country look even more ghetto. Get rid of all the debris (garbage, stones, litter), along with the boarded up and ran-shackled shacks. Put paint on those buildings needing paint job. Grow some grass.

I agree with you. She is being foolish.

I agree with you Bahamianpride. Reporting to work when told and then file a grievance is the way to go otherwise, you only make life miserable for yourself. I'm sure there are plenty persons out there who would gladly have your job if you were to be terminated.

Agree with you 100%.

Commissioner Greenslade, I admire you for what you are doing. I agree with you that this "jailhouse wedding" should not have happened and it is an embarrassment. Those who allowed it should be reprimanded to the fullest.

I love it.......TalRussell and Pastor Troy!! I couldn't agree with you more. Don't judge others if you are without sin. Rev Patterson states he and the country would never vote for a gay candidate & that he doesn't understand what rights LGBT are looking for. That is a rediculous statement to make coming from someone supposedly intelligent. I would imagine they want to be respected by all individuals and NOT be discriminated against because of their belief and lifestyle. No one has to agree with them but you must show respect. Only God has the right to judge.

Common sense was not used when the referendum was first put out to the people. It was not even worded right. As I have stated from the beginning, if the referendum brought a "NO" vote, the web shops should have been closed. Since they have not and seems the government has no intention of doing so, then by all means legalize and tax them. Next time you should think better on whether or not a referendum should be put to the people.

Finally changed what was totally wrong to begin with.
