Don't blame the police. Signs will not deter anyone that wants to speed. Drivers need to use common sense when driving and obey the speed limit. A lot of the accidents are because people drive at an excessive rate of speed and don't pay any attention to what is going on. They are in such a hurry, mostly just because. Most roads are narrow and 2 lanes. Trying to overtake on a 2 way without regard as to what is ahead coming from the opposite direction is often ignored. Police need to keep having traffic stops and citing those with traffic offences.
Sorry for the loss of employees jobs but 5 KFC's within 2 miles of each other and as small as Nassau is seems a bit too much. Bring in another food franchise. Something different other than BK, Wendy's & McDonald's.
Why is it that those remanded to jail suspected of murder express concern for their safety. Is it because they know they will run into their rivals and possibly get beaten or hurt by them and won't be able to get revenge or is it just a cop out to get special treatment?
Legalize web shops therefore, taxing will generate thousands/millions of dollars to be used towards education and revitalizing the country. It is not going anywhere no time soon so you might just as well deal with it and be over it instead of procrastinating!!!

I totally agree with you I too cannot understand how anyone can be given bail for suspected murder and other crimes such as robbery, breaking and entering and are already out on bail for the same crimes. It is totally ridiculous. You have a bunch of criminals roaming the streets committing the same crime over and over until they get caught again only to be let out on bail again. Something truly is dead wrong with the system and until it is fixed the Bahamas will have the same problems in the future.
