Recent quotes by government members on the upcoming referendum. " These are the referendum questions and they will not be changed" " The referendum questions will be changed" " I have not seen the referendum questions" " Maybe there will be no referendum" Is stupidity the order of the day? Just asking
According to FM Bahamians don't deserve any consultation regarding VAT. Apparently this is exactly how foreigners think of him also. He does not deserve any explanation.
It is obvious that PC has lost control of his cabinet and MP's,that is if he ever had any control in the first place. He is trying to save face and stall for time. Too little, too late. More and more MP's are openly defying him. I suppose this is why he constantly reminds everyone that he is PM. This situation has the potential of making the gambling referendum fiasco, look like a joke.
Another disgrace. Money can't be found to fix PMH and buy medicine. However money can be easily found to pay consultants, travel abroad and finance failed projects.
To me BEC is the perfect example that shows the incompetence and stupidity of Bahamian politicians. 41 years after independence and they still can't keep the lights on. Yet some people expect them to deal with more complex issues such as the economy and crime. Good luck with that

Banks can't be seem to grant special favors, even if that is the case in private. Otherwise everyone will ask to be treated the same way. The same thing with taxes. If I don't pay my taxes and the PM intervenes for someone else I have the right to ask him to intervene on my behalf as well. Unfortunately PC does not get it,as he expects to be congratulated for his actions. So pray tell us what other families have you helped in the meantime?
Is this man so out of it or he is simply trying to distract the attention of the Bahamian people? With so many serious issues the country s facing, he is talking about new parliament and PM''s residence?
