I think that this comment by the Commissioner and his subsequent blaming of a journalist for causing him to make it perfectly illustrates the level and quality that can be expected from the State's Security Forces.

This columnist has just got so ridiculous. How can any reasonably informed person still believe the lies of America's Far Right that the election was rigged to steal the Presidency from Donald? Has he been watching Foxed Views again?

The man or woman using the title godpe'ed is obviously s little deranged. Dianne Phillips has called it right in her column.

So does UB select the best available candidate for the position or the best available Bahamian candidate? Consider; 400,000 Bahamians to choose from, 8 billion other citizens of other countries to choose from. Hmmm.....

The comments certainly did escalate fast I agree. The Amerikan Far Right successfully brainwashed millions using clever misinformation on social media and totally biased news media channels like Fox. Many are filled with an irrational rage and miadirected hate of any who do not share their views .The belief of the Trumpanzees is deep and unshakable; as is the case with any cult and its leader of brainwashed cult members. These misguided people need our compassion and we hope they can recover a normal intellect.

The pompous declarations of of the so called church leaders continue to leave me puzzled. how did this man conclude that hanging as a method of state imposed execution is heinous while the lethal injection is not?. I read Pierpoint's autobiography many years ago, the last British official hangman executed dozens of convicted criminals. If i remember correctly it takes less than 45 seconds for the prisoner to be removed from the holding cell to be dead from a broken neck. Compare this to the slow choking horror of the gas chamber, the 30 minutes that it takes to strap down attach electrodes and jolt a condemned prisoner with 50,000 volts; sometimes it taking 2 to 3 repetitions to kill. Lethal Injections can take 20 minutes or more to kill after the insertion of the intravenous needle. If I am going to be executed by the State then hanging will be my first choice.

How refreshing to see Her majesty honour a person who actually deserves it, a person who is not a political crony, an ex-politico, or a political party campaign donor.

This is simple; close it down. how many cities and large towns around the world have their own airline and military? None, and this is the size of our country, the size of a large town or very small city in most other countries. Close it down, we cannot afford it. Forget the ridiculous national pride reasoning to keep it going.

If i was the Minister I would not waste my time talking to these overpaid entitlement minded state employed workers either. Most of these union presidents just seem to want to become politicians and have to work even less and get paid even more.
