To compare the national airline of Dubai, which has one of the highest GDPs in the world with the national airline of the Bahamas which has one the lowest, absolute not per capita, GDPs in the world is patently ridiculous. This representation of the thinking that goes on at Bahamasair just illustrates why the corporation has been an albatross dragging down he economy for decades. Sir Harold Christie would be appalled at what a fiscal disaster his dream of a Bahamian owned airline turned into.

I thought that these pills were sold over the counter, no prescription necessary, in most of the more civilised countries of the world. A lot of fuss over nothing.

This country has employment laws that protect long serving employees who can only be terminated at great expense to the employer. As a business survives longer so the employee termination liability increases until it reaches a point where the business is no longer fiscally viable. Taylor industries was a case in point, is Cavalier Construction another victim of our onerous industrial relations act? The law of unintended consequences in action?

Any one who takes John Pinder's words at face value has only himself to blame if he or she finds that they have been led into a non existent wonderland. Has the man ever actually held down a regular productive job in the private sector or has his whole life been supported by union dues or a government paycheck? Watch out real world.

Did Ms. Hanna Martin actually accomplish anything at all during her tenure as a minister? I seem to remember a lot of stuff about "swift justice" which turned out to be just slow more of the same incredibly slow justice.
