The dangers posed to our culture and Christian values by the promotion of human right? Would the letter writer, if he had been old enough to pen a letter in the 1950's, been as vehemently opposed to the struggles of the Civil Rights movement to end racial segregation? Perhaps he would indeed as the exact same arguments were used back then by the white racist church going opponents of Martin Luther King and all the many others in the movement.
If I understand this letter writer correctly, he is, amongst other things, accusing Governor deSantis of being the devil. This is probably not a good idea if Mr. Ellis wishes to renew the visa that allows him to visit the USA. Mr Ellis also seems to accuse the Governor of being a racist for hypothetically threatening to "flatten the Bahamas". Does Mr. Ellis realize that tens of thousands of Bahamian citizens consider their heritage to be white European? Altogether a very limited perspective shown by both parties.
Many employees, especially those employed by the State, have an attitude of entitlement.; perhaps engendered by the PLP's past policy in education of Social Promotion, by which students were promoted to the next higher grade level regardless of their performance but based solely on the fact that they had spent a year in the old grade. If this state employed worker has spent 31 years doing exactly the same job then, in my opinion, he or she, does not deserve any promotion. Promotion should entail greater responsibilities or greater production, not simply showing up to do the same ol' job.
Religious leaders make bad politicians. Politics is the art of compromise; meeting people half way. Religion has no room for compromise; you either believe in what I teach or else I believe you going to have a very nasty afterlife, no compromise is possible. The lust for power is a strong incentive.
BTC and Cable Bahamas. Aliv have supplied a very questionable level of service while making a high level of profit. The sooner that we consumers have an alternative the better it will be for we consumers. Since I own no shares in the aforementioned companies so I could not care less about their profits. How many of our elected officials do own shares though, this may be the only thing standing in the way of a better communications service choice .

Mitchell is right this time; there is no way that the party would $1,000 for a vote when the current going rate is only one Mitchy Marlin.
