Correction As an evangelical Christian who believes in the intrinsic value of the life of unborn Bahamian babies.
I don't belive in abortion but our motivations are different. Based on your sick twisted demented, roundabout diatribe, It seems you would not have been upset if this was an offer extended to "Haitians". You really do not care about live, just a race to the wire to have more birth than Haitians. You quote all this nonsense about black and African American but your hatred for Haitians clouds your faulty logic.
Evangelical Christian translated means, "A hypocrite, who drops the name of God here and there when it meets his or her social and political agenda."
This question goes to my Jamaican counterparts also Mr. Pinder. I saw a news story where tey have imported Chinese labour for Construction Jobs, Brick, MOrtar and steel.
1. Are Bahamians being trained by these Chinese to lay Brick, Mortar and Steel? 2.Is the same requirement to train an understudy for say "Burger KIng" placed on a local boy running a Crab Shack?
Surely you must understand that individuals and nations are responsible for their own training. Surely you also understand that outside investors invest, to make money and not to provide jobs. Though jobs are usually and offshoot of investment.
Good employers will give training so that his employees will provide the best service which is good for business. No one is going to invest and at the same time run a blacksmith style "prento" program, and also have time for weekly reports.
Remember I said, I am talking to my Jamaican joker counterparts too.
What is foolishness is allowing people to be born ina place, live for decades with no status. Sure recipe for public disorder, as people without the means to integrate will be a nuisance.
Hmm a company lacks a skill set. or claim they do. They need expertise and have a spot for one guy/lady. But to get the needed expertise they have to get a 'prento". You can't make this stuff up in the 21st or is this the 19th century and they are looking for cobblers?
I read the story. I saw Haiti, Jamaica, Brazil, Bahamas. What does US have to do with this. Ok to satisfy you. Why weren't the Jamaican smugglers arrested?
