Isnt it a shame an Island nation has to depend on USA for water to drink, and don't grow any of your own food.
Anyway I am not here to trade insults. I am simply saying you all paranioa about othe negroes coming to your beloved Bahamaland, when collaboration is the order of the day is crazy.
That goes for my stupid country too. We should be collaborating and have no need to be getting help from Chinese etc. For crying out loud, what do Chinese know about running Hotels? When there is so much expertise in the caribbean. Barbados has great systems all around. Trinidad has experirnce in manufacturing and energy.
Anyway deport the haitians and your problems are over.
You desire to become a welfare state getting leftovers from Uncle Sam. Instead of collaboration with your black brethren. But alas the darker skinned negroes of the Bahamas do not think their ancestry originates in Africa. They think they are Caucasian who got darkened by the tropical sun.
Let me let you in on a secret. For all the issues we have in the Caribbean, electricity generation not one of them. But will you import expertise from the Caribbean no. Because people are coming to take jobs that don't exist and get a ticket to heaven by virtue of getting anp Bahamaland work permit.
Well mudda has been outta control for years. He is about to join a hate group(Though I suspect he is the leader) in the name of national pride. Last week he posted something nasty about bodies in a trailer. However, those were Haitian bodies so the Tribune allowed it.
@Bogart I saw a news today where there are more Haitian refugees at the southern US border than Guatemalan and Hondurans. Canada is also crying out for help.
It's unfortunate that Bahamanians is in the Wind sailing path from Haiti. It's sad their useless Government has been unable to get stability.
Rwanda Burundi 2.0 Immigration is one thing. Block em if you must, but Rank Hatred. Why you all don't go demonstrate at the Jamaican High Commission? You all following behind a loser a mental case. In most cases people who have something going on with their lives don't have time to hate on the Fatherless, the widow and the poor.
My dear sister, your decent common sense approach is alien to a lot of your peeps. I was even in an argument with one who was adamant about deporting dead bodies in a cooler.
I think Many Bahamians have never heard of what happened in Monsterrat a decade ago when the whole country had to be Evacuated. People are strutting around like peacocks touting superiority to Haitians.
The Bahamas does have a good eçonomy, but ironically and it's fact the average Bahamian who gets up and goes to work, does not access these benefits and are no better off than anyone in the Caribbean. Yes I went their. Maybe this is why people get joy in villifying Haitians.

Thanks for the friendly reminder. It's bad. However even if 10% of the population desired and tried to leave, it would overwhelm Bahamaland in a day.
Just a bad combination of geography, economics, and politics.

I fully agree with you.
I always ask my Jamaican brethren and sistren.
If beating were so good about keeping us in line, why is our society to raggedy and disorganized and violent?
The love to claim Jamaican children are so "mannersable" intimidated by beatings, but how does it translate to peace and tranquility.
Most upper middle class and wealthy people do not go the violence route, their children turn out fine
