The FNM cannot get my vote with him as leader. The PLP will not get my vote mo matter who is leader. I hope something happens before election to change my mind!
What most people in this country do not realize is that first world countries see their populations as never ending sources of income through taxes. The decriminalization of certain acts (prostitution) and drugs (mushrooms and marijuana) has nothing to do with the moral implications of those choices, but generating tax revenue. Having seen what drugs have done and is still doing to many in this country I think legalization would be a bad idea. But then again, politicians want to keep the dumbed down happy because it equals votes!
This country is corrupt to its core, on both sides of the political aisle. A CoI would accomplish nothing more than temporarily increase newspaper sales!
It has always been the practice for PMs to mimic the policies of their American counterparts, no matter how silly the policy. If Minnis could just mimic 10% of what Trump has done for America in terms of immigration, job creation, keeping China in its place and prison reform, this country would be better off overnight! Won't hold my breath though!
