Gibson knows he is guilty, which is why he was so happy that he got off on technicalities due to government prosecutors incompetence! If only the Bahamian people could file a class action suit against the government for wasting taxpayers dollars using incompetent investigators and attorneys!
90% of these workers know they do not have the education or transferable skill sets to do anything else. The mindset of workers (and unions) in this country is appalling!
... unfortunately its the dregs of society who offer themselves for higher political office, so until we have a cadre of persons who are nationalistic with common sense (higher education is not necessarily a requirement) and with moral values who create a NEW party, we will continue to see saw between two the evils (PLP & FNM) each election cycle!
If people were serious about doing something to affect 'climate change' they would simply stop purchasing goods made in China and plant more trees! Those two moves would be more beneficial to the environment than many other proposals made thus far.
It starts with the family and what their values are. If we can re-institute the role of the nuclear family and agree on the moral and social values that should be predominant in our society, then education may have a chance!
