... its not that there is a lack of capable women, smart people steer clear of politics! The pay is meagre, the system corrupt and constituents are demanding of your time and resources! Usually its the parasites among us who clamor for political office. Not all, but most!
... we love to celebrate, but we hate the work involved in nation building, which is by extension building individuals, families and communities! When the near illiterate, with no impulse control or moral compass are in the majority, you create ghettoes! And that is basically what Nassau has become, a ghetto with pockets of gated communities! I for one refuse to attend large gatherings with a bunch of negroes who do not understand that emancipation must first take place in the mind!
It seems we had far better people when we had far less in education and resources!
... how about 2 terms for politicians with no pension thereafter. How about cutting the PM's pension in half? How about only allowing any living person to only collect one pension from the government, so that a person is not getting a pension as a former PM's wife and one as a former Governor General for instance?
How about politicians making suggestions that will reduce the pressure on the public purse??
... sadly, all a person has to do now is get elected leader of their party and if they hold on long enough, they will become PM as the pendulum swings! We need real election reform, starting with only 2 term for MP's and the PM. Politics has become a career for far too many! Politicians who qualify for pensions should only be able to access that after the age of 65!
*The mother-of-two said her ex-boyfriend nearly killed her on July 10 in front of her four-year-old son, a child from a previous relationship who also lived in the home.*
25 year old mother of two children by two different men! Wonder if she could put those accomplishments on her resume!
Screwed up people raising screwed up children, resulting in a screwed up society!
