... the issue here is that she made a public statement about things that are visible to the public. Anyone entering certain areas of the hospital can see the deterioration and lack of maintenance that puts people at risk. Had she disclosed something private, that would be another matter, but the PHA overstepped their authority in demanding that she not travel. Who do they think they are, a Supreme court judge?
... the nurse said nothing that patients do not see. There would be no problem if the government simply maintained our primary hospital. This is an indictment on those who are paid by the public purse allow a healthcare institution to fall into disrepair while still giving "*service*" to the public!
... it's time for government assistance to be given in the form of very low interest loans that must be repaid within a specified period of time. Defaulting will bar the borrower from access to further help in the future. It's not the governments money that is being handed out, it is the taxpayers and with our mounting national debt and growing social welfare class, there has to be greater fiscal responsibility shown!
