... I remember when Bahamians were largely a fairly decent people. We abandoned morality and everyone does what is right in their own eyes; it has only reduced us to a people who are more animal than human. In fact, some animals have more of a conscience than many walking around in society today! We are reaping what we have sown, but maybe more new police cars will solve the problem!
... notice no mention of the father? That should have been the first question! Many children in this country suffer unnecessarily because of the poor choices of their parents!
... Trump is doing what every leader should do, look out for the best short and long term interests of his country! We have yet to have one leader who can consistently do that! Politics in the Bahamas is a way for a person to look out for their own interest under the guise of "national service".
... we continue to choose people to govern who are career failures at national development, but successful at using government access to build their personal fiefdoms! Since independence out nation has increased it's dependence on external factors for our survival, increasing our vulnerability to those forces! In both the government and people's personal lives, living above your means is the norm! We are not in a position to change anything and the government can't do anything! We have no choice but to take what the nations who sweetheart the Bahamas choose to give!
*"— particularly the 14 new ambulances imported from Spain last year. One EMT said the vehicles are too small to fit essential equipment or accommodate larger patients, making them unsuitable for front-line emergency response*."
Kinda funny that someone would buy 14 ambulances from **Spain** when their population are 1/3 the size of the average Bahamian! It's time to use flatbed trucks to transport some of our people to hospitals.
As sad as this is, people will still vote for these clowns in the next election, so who is to blame but the Bahamian people!
... forget marital rape, this country has to make a move to make divorce easier! Not for the purpose of diminishing the institution, but to prevent people having to live in untenable situations like this!
