Maybe the PM does not realize that we are moving into a season with much less rain which means this is not a priority at this time. Most of the country is out of work, getting sick or dying and his focus is on sidewalks and the Cabinet building?
Bahamians have always failed to prioritize issues, hence our delusional arrogance and pride while living in a failed state! Coronavirus has exposed the absolute failure of our country to prepare for the future and the current failure of governance makes it clear that we need more critical thinking and problem solving in this country, rather than following what everyone else is doing to our detriment. We are such a simple people!
Every time this PM opens his mouth he shows just out of touch he is with the Bahamian people and the real life challenges they have and I can't believe we have been paying him for the past 7 months!
So are we to believe that the salary of a civil servant at that level is enough to allow him and his family to live in the US and for him to travel back and forth as needed? Are we really seen to be that daft? Seems more likely Brennen told them to piss off and found another job because of their incompetence!

It they have work permits that means they have jobs. If they have jobs they can pay rent and inject money into the local economy!
If they violate the law by building illegally their work permits should be revoked and they should be repatriated!
