It is up to us, he is right. Each and every one of us has a part to play.
Bahamians have a long history of being self-destructive, and true to form many of us are thinking and acting selfishly. They are selfish when they vote (we vote for bribes and a turkey's & not what's best for the collective) and selfish when it comes to taking vaccines, saying "I let others take that voodoo stuff it’s not going in my body!" (whilst eating hotdogs & KFC!)
So even though the PM is right about The Covid Fix being up to 'us', the selfish Bahamians amongst us, still won't do what is best for themselves and their nation, so we ALL now have to accept we are predestined to more adversity, we will just have to live with more people getting sick dying, more strains of Covid and cross our fingers the economic impact scrapes by. We will have crime, death and poverty on a scale never seen before.
I completely agree with you MSG! The radio hosts are literally killing people with their mishmash of gobbledygook, they are damaging their own futures and everyone that resided in the Bahamas. It is insanity at best, and criminal at worst, in fact in some First World Democratic nations they probably would have been charged with serious crimes by now.
BTW ohdrap4, you are mistaken, there are vaccines in country, people are getting vaccinated daily, if they want to be.
FACT: There is zero sport involved in this kind of Deep Sea, 'sport fishing' (Not fishing for personal use / food)
I have seen them getting on their professional fishing boats, they have so much fishing tackle its obvious they are over fishing our seas for Commercial Profits, and Not fishing for personal use / food. ALL of these 'Sports Fishing Boats' take more than their quota, and some taking as much as poachers from Haiti or Dominica. They get onboard with cases and cases of Ziplock bags, stacks of industrial size coolers, men hired to JUST clean the fish caught. Some of the mega yachts fly in professional crews from South America on private jets, all with brand new fishing equipment, wearing the boat logo on shirts and uniforms. It is slaughter on a massive scale, and a lot of garbage and hooks are left floating in the sea.
One day not so far away in the future, we will look back at this time and see these cowardly sport/hunters for what they are, they will be regarded in the same way as people hunting giraffes, elephants and loins are now.
Its just Plain Wrong. And anyone trying to justifying it is kidding themselves. Please Wake UP, before its all gone and too late to fix!

His arrogance is very off-putting and his ego does not match his talent.
