It is called a contract. . .their pensions are not government or anybody else business. . .it is a Constitutional right after serving 30+ years in Public Services!! All that other stuff is contracted benefits with government for expert and professional services rendered atter they have EARNED their pensions. . .Constitutionally!! So yinna think that only government have those kinds of persons working for it. . .private sectors institutions have plenty of them here too and paying them way more than government paying them!!!! Heck. . .them private sector hires does live out West and East. . .paying an **average of $5,000 per month for their living accommodations!!**
How many of yinna read the disclosure laws before yall start talking?? Yinna don't think that each one of those candidates who made those declarations know that if any questions arise about what they declared to be true and correct can and will land their backside in a court of law. . .if anything in those declarations is found to be fraud?? Why yinna think they are under oath when they declare? i expect persons on this site to bring their minds from outta da streets and be the bulwarks for common sense and logics during this time of dumb nonsense!!
Yinna does go for some petty stuff nah!!! Yinna know that that man een working for government and he is on contract for expert services?? Yinna ninnies een have no problem with them local white peoples or them ones from over-seas coming over here and making millions from both governments for professional contracts services and then raise a bunch of foolishness when our own local professionals do the same!! Yinna minds done turn to mush fer real!!
Must professional Bahamians have to go over-seas to be paid their worth after retirements?? That's the kind of thinkings that make the Bahamians sound like one-horse-town hicks!!
Easy nah. . .don't go off half-cocked and forget that this is common practice for all of our political parties. . .and the whole world for that matter!! For example, how much do you think that white woman who was running the FNM feeding program was paid each year!! Ma bouy. . .yoon want to know!! LOP did it, HI did it, PC did it and HM did it. . .they are called specialists and are paid for their expertise!! Yinna need to check out how much them over-seas companies does pay our local professionals when they manage big projects for them locally. . .more money than our government ever paid any one of them!!
People we are still not discussing the pro and con of the issue at hand. . .invectives are all I see/hear!! Lets forget PLP, FNM and COI and get to work discussing the lottery question. OK!
Yea yea. . .just what I mean. . .adhominem as defense.. Do better than that. Try a Polemic defense, using the eorits tense then call me dumb!!!! I am waiting!
Correct me if I am wrong. . .was MP a part of the cabinet that bought that hotel? Or was that hotel bought within the last four years? Then if my questions are all affirmative. . . the PLP and FNM are responsible for that mess?? My my!!
I think that Bahamians need to first clarify in their social minds that there are more than illegal Haitians in this country. . .large numbers of **legals** that Bahamians call **illegals**. . .persons who hold legal status under the Bahamas Constitution!! There are legal permit holders, Bahamian citizens of Haitian decent and other naturalized persons of Haitian decent.
When you take into consideration all of the others besides illegals. . .many persons of Haitian decent in this country ya can't do them a dang thing about but learn to live with them. . .they can vote and work here just like yinna raw Bahamians!! This is their home just as well as ours!
In my travels over the years, I met yinna Bahamians all over the globe. . creased-right-up in them other people countries big and bold!! In my last trip to the USVI. . .the administrator of the gov. house was one er yinna!! The largest part of my legacy family is living in either USA or CA. Yinna all over the place like dirt too. . .like Rick Fox!!
