Bahamasair needs to closed down ASAP. Much, much wealthier countries have long ago given up on a state run carrier. Make sure the inter-island connections are guaranteed by a number of private Bahamian carriers. Everything else leave to the big boys.

Absolutely agree... unfortunately 'foreigners' are always to blame for whatever is wrong in this country. Nevermind the fact that the ones who take advantage of this country and its population are by far and large Bahamians.

The sad thing is that medical care isn't even superior to those who can afford it. On average it is inferior to the top systems in Europe. Anyone who had treatment both in the US and Europe will be able to attest to this. The reason why this comes up every time, is because the US attracts top talent by it's sheer size and wealth. Yes, you are going to get world class treatment, but only in specialized fields.

Price controls are obviously not a good idea... but so isn't a protectionist retail market like we have in the Bahamas. Super Value, Solomon's and others have obviously no clue how to run stock and inventory. In a competitive environment they would be put into bankruptcy tomorrow.

Yes, please keep making this about politics with your daily unintelligible rambling. It's what the Bahamas needs right now. You should be ashamed and not only about your limited grasp of the English language.

First you need reliable conventional power. Nothing is going to the replace this in the short or medium term. For solar you need storage, which with batteries (only viable option in the Bahamas) is extremely expensive. Demand at night is usually higher, particularly in the summer months.
