Any country allowing visitors from the USA into their country at this time is taking a huge risk, a huge risk and that includes the Bahamas, I hope and pray the monies we are chasing don't be to the detriment of our society. With hotels closed and the cruise ports closed why is the country open at this time and the tourists that will be coming in is of no great numbers to help our economy at this time and only visitors from countries with very minimum cases should be allowed in.
Seek assistance from who, when, how? but the thing is Assistance has to be readily available for someone to seek and not be just words picked out of a hat and then thrown together to imply that assistance is there for persons to seek.
This is going to be a scary period in the life of the Bahamas, we couldn't handle the few cases we had, I sure hope they know what they are doing because if people start falling sick by the dozens a time or hundreds we will definitely be up s$$t creek
A group of five persons allowed on beaches, an outdoor area. Bahamasair, on the other hand, will not let their plane full of passengers in a closed area social distance while sitting on the plane for hours, we are such a backward thinking nation.
Way to go, Mr. Sarkis, hold them accountable and get paid, good for you to expose the under handling of all involved and bringing the darkness to light.
Parents charged with abuse for using a belt on their children, but the RBPF can abuse other people children with bats against their heads and nothing happens to the abusive policemen, their is surly a lack of justice and contempt issued against its citizens.
Bahamians allowed to go on beaches 2 days before tourist, where is the logic between going on the beach now and going on the 29th, none that I see other than a dictators ego.
Where are the body cameras and car cameras promised Mr. Minister of security, and please don't try blaming the delay on COVID-19? The truth of the matter is the force does not want to be accountable to the Bahamian people for their actions and inactions, the only way transparency and accountability will be achieved is thru cameras being installed on the police, in their cars and in police stations especially during police interrogation of suspects in their custody. We NEED cameras yesterday, not tomorrow.
