These are some of the injustices that make poor and hustling citizens want to protest, giveaways to the rich, and stick it to the poor.

The noticeable thing is police brutality also happens in black on black countries like ours, people being beaten with clubs at a junkanoo parade for no apparent reason other than police brutality and there are also other injustices that happens involving law enforcement and are swept under the rug, and like in all police beatings and killings like their counterparts in the USA the first thing they will say they acted because they were in fear for their lives. Police car cameras and body cameras along with civilians cameras are the deciding factors, when will our forces have theirs? At least these persons will unite, and have the balls and the will and are standing up and protesting for injustice. The big question is when will we?

When citizens are tired and fed up with the system that is meant to look out for and protect them do none of the above then these kinds of things happen. I hope our present and future politicians and leaders are taking notes.

My guess is no that individual would have been shot dead within the first seconds of shots fired siting being in fear of their lives, when shots were fired they ran from being in fear of their lives but did not fire back instead they found a way to wait this person out and deal with him without killing him, I hope in the future they learn to deal with Bahamians in the same way.,

Violence is never the answer whether it's against women or men. On the other hand, today's Bahamian women don't and won't walk away and very often don't and won't let the man walk away either, they will kick, punch and slap a man while saying at the same time you ga hit me, you ga hit a woman? Men should know their roles as men and women should know their roles as women.
