Other countries have had elections during the pandemic and persons in quarantine were able to vote, they could have looked, analyze the possibilities, not be lazy, and find a way to ensure that no eligible voter is denied their rights.
Other countries have held an election successfully during this pandemic, with the persons that are in quarantine being able to be involved in the election process and have their votes counted. The person responsible for the election is just plain lazy or doesn't believe in a fair election. Minister Dames could track down someone and cause them to be brought before the courts in record time for allegedly moving red signs, but with months on hand could not put a plan together to ensure that all are able to cast a vote including the persons in quarantine, no plan, no vision.
He needs to be investigated, there seems to be clear proof of conflict of interest here. Bahamians need to get away from this party loyalty and think of loyalty to hold any and everyone with no exceptions whether PLP, FNM, or others, accountable who is stealing our ( Bahamian People ) money, we put them to work for us not steal from us.
Not really sorry for the USA they have a bad habit of going into other people countries and forcing their way of life and thinking on persons, well the Taliban and Afghanistan showed them good, I can bet they didn't fly any rainbow flag there during the time they boldly flew it here, they bully weaker countries, so its good to see them get a taste of their own medicine and hang their heads in shame.
The PM lied while looking the Bahamians straight in their eyes, one could only imagine the extent of his lies when he's not.
Yes, Mr. Rolle should have been paid more. More persons who have unlawfully suffered at the hands of the RBPF should put their cases forward and be compensated, in this way things will come to light. Those officers involved are just as heartless, cold, and ruthless as the criminal element they fight against, no difference.
If corruption follows the PLP like day follows night then the FNM must be the inventor of corruption. If I were to be present and watching (OBAN $5 Billion deal) as forgery is knowingly being taken place I would be thrown in prison as an accomplice to forgery. That is corruption and very dangerous. The Bahamas is OUR business and every 5 years we choose a CEO to take care of OUR affairs, if Dr. Minnis was to operate his private business like he has done OUR business he would end up firing himself. Innocent until PROVEN guilty, Dr. Minnis had his chance and did a horrible job, there was no transparency, no accountability, no plans, and a lot of lies and blind promises, he has been tried and proven now it is time for another CEO to prove themselves whether it's PLP, DNA, or others.
For Mr. Culmer or anyone else, just to BE fair, Dr. Minnis had a chance to prove himself in the capacity of PM, CEO of our Bahamaland he failed miserably. Mr. Davis on the other hand has never had a chance to do the same, oh and there is a vast difference between CEO and deputy CEO, so until he is given the chance the country will never know.
The country is in need of a real Minister or Ministress of health at this time, first to inspire our health workers so they can return to the frontline, second to manage our COVID crises. This is war and without our frontline, we will defiantly be quickly defeated as it now shows. We would fall faster than Afghanistan fell. The question now is can the FNM find someone to take up this task, because the current health minister seems to only make matters worse.
