How do we know if what Fred is saying is truth? He didn't provide one piece of evidence for his claim. What was filed? By whom? Where is the receipt showing the court received it? This dubious claim should not even be reported.
*“I think the matter as it relates to the funeral at the cemetery was addressed already,” he told reporters yesterday. “I don’t know if there’s much more that I can add to it other than to say it did happen and that’s about as much — I couldn’t say why the persons (were there) but there were three funerals that were going on side by side and, of course, when people see the police, they love the police and they came over.*
Does the Commissioner take us for fools? People love the police so they came over to see? When was the first time I went to a burial in a graveyard and saw another funeral with the police and said let me go over cause I love them so I need to see? You can't make this stupidity up from ignorant leaders. Clearly the police did not police themselves on this matter.
Could someone help me understand how prisoners who are in lockup can get the corona virus? Prisoners are not allowed to roam free in the community? So if a prisoner has it it means that they were given it by a prison officer who brought it into the prison.
Beyond that, the Commissioner is a plain idiot. To believe that in a free society the press cannot bring up certain things or question him on it. Guess he has been in the prison too long.
Sensible democracies have fix election dates. Fake democracies have this snap elections dates. Someone please tell me what is the fixation with an early election? It is high time we set a fixed date for elections and stop this stupidness of having only one person knowing the date of election.
When you compare the Bahamas with the region and ignore its closest neighbour in the regions, i.e. Florida, then it is clear you re seeking to push a false narrative bout your rates.
And here we go again, same old story from same old tired MP who has never done a darn thing for Cat Island, but wants to talks about were the Bahamas is going. Child please!
One of the things we always must keep in mind is intellectual honesty. Minnis did not implement the Hawksbill Creek Agreement that governs Freeport. Nor was Minnis the PM who authorized the sale of the GBPC to Emera. The GBPA is the one who is letting Emera run wild and allowing them to milk us residents of GB. Your rage, if you desire to be a voice with us in GB, should be directed at the Port Authorithy, who are the ones failing to protect the licensees and residents of Freeport.

I could not even make it to the end of the first sentence, wherever that is.
This reality is that this editorial is on point. We need to seriously look at judicial reform.
