I would love to visit in my own country. But the prices are just too outrageous. How can the average Bahamian visit other islands in their own country when the tourism product is designed for the high end foreigner and not the average Bahamian citizen?
What proof do you have that Minis and Turnquest have foreign and accounts and second homes abroad? It is very unethical and libellous to sling stories, with no facts to back them up. Unless you are willing to do that, you need to retract such a statement. In fact I am surprised the tribune allowed such a post without making sure the person was fact checked.
Has Cooper been living under a rock. Does he not realised the whammy from Hurricane Dorian and Covid19 that our country has taken? This is not time for political shenanigans. This is time to try build our country because we are in for a rough ride.
James Albury does not need to resign. The PLP need to stop this political garbage. This man is doing what he is elected to do as an MP. Because of our stupid political system, if you in cabinet you are muzzled as a MP to speak on behalf of your constituents. Instead of talking foolishness about resignation, Fred and Gravy Davis should be applauding him for being responsible as an MP and speaking up for what his people are saying. IAfter all, don't MP's represent the people and are to be their voice?
Tried of this political garbage in our country. But then again never expect anything better from Fred and Gravy Davis as they have no moral ethics to begin with.
I like fellowing with the saints, but no way I sitting in a building for a worship service with a mask on or driving up a building for one and sitting in the blazing hot sun for one hour. Will stay in the comfort of my house and just tune in to zoom or livestream service.
Sadly the headline still is wrong. Nowhere in the article does it say they gave out 273,000 meals. Note what the article says:
"$273,000 in donations purchased about 7,800 parcels since March which provides food for approximately 39,000 people."
I wonder how the editor of the Tribune allowed that error to be made. We can't be sensational like another local publication, just using a headline to get sales. True journalism demands better.

The PLP apparently always had vision, but never can get anything done. Vision without action is just a daydream.
