Some of us just cannot keep our politics out of our opinions. The Director of Labour said that
10 Bahamians had the qualifications that the bank was looking for.The next step should be to
interview them and pick the best one. I don't think even Birdie Strachan would have a problem
with that.

The" red flags" fly atop thousands of Bahamian homes who are mercilessly ripped off daily
by "spinning", by our newly minted multi-millionaires, who can only see green. The strange
thing about this is that if the webshops were owned by white Bahamians, our reverend
gentlemen and ladies would be screaming from the hilltops .

My condolences to the family of the workers involved in this tragic incident . Nowadays ,most
businesses, such as the one concerned, should employ someone as a Safety Officer. What
could have been done in that instance was to have a program where anytime entry into that
machine is scheduled, the Officer has to be notified and he would then turn off the breaker and
put a lock on it,tagging it" out of service" until the required maintenance is completed ,logging
the names of workers involved , the time that they entered and exited, and performing a physical check, ensuring that nobody is inside, before unlocking the breaker and returning it
back into service.Again my condolences to the families involved and i also pray for the employees who witnessed the tragic incident.

There goes Fred the liar, sorry lawyer, saying "I will go after ya ma, ya wife."We all know better
than that. Jay Z can leave Beyonce alone with Fred in a hotel room , naked for a week and
he will meet her just as he left her.The only conversation will be her being asked if she has
any brothers.

The post was deleted because of the negative response garnered, but it was put there because
of what is known by the police and i am sure they know much more than we do on the subject .
When i was a teenager over forty years ago, i used to hear first hand stories of what some of
the young men from my area did , despicable as it was for me to hear, when moving through
a crowded sidewalk. You can guess which ladies got their attention.

I really did not want to respond to another article about McAlpine, but i must. When he criticized
Prime Minister Minnis concerning his assistance to Dominica, it was his right to free speech,
when he is criticized, those who did so" have an agenda".Therein lies his mindset, which was
nurtured as a church leader, where he did all the talking, led all the singing and was in
charge of everything. It was his show, where even the Lord played second fiddle to him.He has
a mini church now because most of his members were able to see him for what he is, a
megalomaniac. I am of the belief that he spoke out because it was killing him to have to listen
to others speaking so much , while so little attention was being paid to him.

He thinks he is better than his parents as he was born here, i guess adopting the slogan" It Is
Better In The Bahamas" as they are both "southerners", his mother from Turks Island and his
father from Jamaica.
