We(Bahamians )really like to waste time and money as i know there were costs to the
inspectors coming here. The government and the B.D.C.S all knew what was needed for
accreditation ,knew we fell short badly, but still had them come down to check it out, akin to
a homeowner with no inside toilet asking a building inspector to inspect his house for a
residential permit. Make the necessary upgrades first.

Where will the new hospital be located,West End,Freeport, East End? I have spoken with
five people on the island and nobody nows the location and the ZNS report did not mention the
location either i was told.

Good news for Grand Bahama in particular and the Bahamas in general....but are we living in
Russia? Quoting the Tribune, Dr. Darville was speaking to reporters on Thursday. He did not
mention where this new hospital would be located and [unsurprisingly] not one reporter had the
nerve to ask .I guess the readers would not want to know either.

I offer my condolences to the grieving family and may the souls of both sons R.I.P. I just have
to mention here the honesty of the father in this tragic incident and compare it with similar
ones ,,where only mothers are interviewed ,with almost all of them saying that their son was a good boy.

Did anyone besides me notice that everyone in the photo is wearing clothes of the same hue?

Wow! This is the third time that just by looking at the "Letter to the Editor" section ,that i was
able to figure out,(not guess) the letter's writer. Bodie is really full of it.

Until the laws pertaining to dogs not being confined to their owners' premises or being secured
on a leash when in public are taken seriously by owners and enforcers of the laws,this incident
will be constantly repeated.

I cannot fault Dame Marguerite at all. I can remember when she said that she and her daughter
who wanted to nominate for the PLP in the last election were called to a meeting with the PLP
leadership and were told that she could not run as the Pindling name would cause a distraction. Brave instead pushed Picewell out for his godson, who subsequently won the South Andros seat.
Then they gather at Sir Lynden's tomb to commemorate Majority Rule? I am not a PLP but i
thought it was grossly unfair to her daughter and just to show how 'cultish' the PLP is, nobody spoke up in her defence,not even one PLP woman who were pushing for more women inclusion.
