To stress that up to four o'clock no one had arrived as yet even if he had called fifteen minutes prior, he himself (Alvin Smith) should be ashame of himself. He's stating that tourist can see the mess and how close it was to Down Town so why didn't he do the easiest Proud To Be Bahamian thing and remove it himself. The time he took monitoring the sh!t he could of picked it up using a piece of cardboard or something preventing the contact to his hands. Stop waiting on others to do what any Bahamian who respects and values his island need to do in making the difference. Although it may not have been human mess, I remember just a few months back while working on Junkanoo Beach, I myself located a broom and every morning swept of the stage on that location, along with gathering up trash (bottles, cups, plates) from the surrounding beach sand. My job description did not come close to covering that task but I am a Bahamian and PROUD of my little rock (island), therefore whatever it takes to perserve it, I will.

What about the "rumour" that the driver was a young male, whom was operating a relative vehicle, fatally struck the two individuals, and left the scene of an accident? That sure has grounds for someone to be charged, if not, then with other incidents, why ask the public for assistance in solving crime? Come like with nobody cares, look at all the evidence there is with the mob that attack the lawyer on the beach, yet no charges were filed.

along with the workers aidding in the various acts, they too should be locked up. while everyone is focusing on the number houses as organised crime, squeeze this in also

Is this Coleby person a doctor, because that would determine if his theory is facts or suggestions about Rolles injuries.

Hope the authorities remember to mention the AGE of the driver and get more people to "assist the police". Read between the lines. Too much of this irresponsible follishness takes places claiming the lives of innocent people and nobody is never held accountable.

Despite the charges placed against this individual, why is The Bahamas so much in the stone age and never seems to assist its citizens. If the court procedure needs to continue so badly, being apart of the government, it would be much easier to find this witness. That same N.I.B. instead of (in my opinion) just deducting from a persons pay and in return giving them 'gas money' when claiming for days lost being sick could of been a proper place to track everything about a person.

i agree with you, congratulations to mr. and mrs. wells. and a very good word used in association of a critic. notice how they mentioned that the workers never worked according to their observation, so why would they have needed to be paid.

The monster ot crime lives within our country because we as citizens don't know how to detect it when it first appears. In fact, what we think is the monster, actually isn't. In the comfort of our very homes it lives undetected until it is ready to emerge, whether or not the home may be one made up of both or just a single parent.
