No body talks about how the UBP government upon the pending and immanent realization of losing the government in the 60:s decided to divide large parcels of land all over the Bahamas, especially new providence beginning from 1962, thus putting the principles of this development and other white Bahamians in the position they are in today. The land in this development was bought back then for a few thousand dollars and is now being sold for hundreds of thousands of dollars for a few square feet. Another good example is the land in Eleuthera that Disney cruise line just bought for nine million dollars (Light house point) was bought back then for a measly fifty thousand dollars. So the headache they are experiencing is just karma for the financial roadblocks they have historically placed on the black masses.

Doc sands is right ......just read Mr: Miller Terry letter in the letters section......i urge Mr: Miller, take to the airwaves, get the environmental people involved. Go online with a petition against the destruction of this vital ecosystem. Your vision of Earth village must not die. The Perpall track area could be for the Nassau what many areas of Jamaica has become. An ecological green peace full area for the many thousands of tourists who looking for new experiences in Nassau, with nature trails for bird watching and a mini zoo featuring many Bahamian native wildlife including snakes and flamingoes. Continue your fight to save this area. Lets hope the PLP destruction plans do not take place in the next two years, for this is one reason they should be kicked out.

Minnis is so right on this, hopefully his lawyer team will be able to make something happen for the retail investors. i think the Nassau Cruise Port shares should have not been place in the BIF mutual fund. Instead they should have been listed on BISX so that there could be true price discovery. Minnis had a hand in the decision to place them in that mutual fund.

My understanding is that BPL existing New Providence T&D System is worth $100 mill and the new equipment for the T&D system will cause another $100 mill. Thats where the $200 mill valuation figure comes from. My only disappointment Government with this deal is that governmant let the big boys in Lyfort cay, old fort bay , Albany and the like Buy up all the $30 million equity shares by end-June 2024 secretly in this Bahamas grid company and did allow the small Bahamian man a chance to buy any shares in this company. VIA an IPO ...Mr Pintard is right in calling for the list of shareholders to be disclosed.

Remember, Baha Mar was supposed to take all of Atlantis guest when it opened, it aint happen. The point was suppose to put the Hilton hotel and junkanoo beach out of business, it aint happen. The Nassau cruise port was suppose the cause the businesses on bay street to collaspe. It aint happen. The tourism numbers are growing. The RCI beach club when completed can co-exist with all of them when finished
